you want the center set up correctly, as well as your travel/endpoints. The closer you can get the ball link to the center of the tail servo while maintaining full travel, the better, especially with smaller birds. If you still have wag, it's probably something mechanical. Make sure all of the mechanical stuff is moving nice and smooth on the tail.

i had to move the ball on the tail servo in by 7.5mm and it has sorted out the tail wag on my Trex 450 pro
