everyone who says turtle beaches are the shit... they are good but they are bulky, and get annoying after awhile. Even the new DX1 or whatever its called is bulky so all i want is a mic that wont break within 2 months. This one is great for me because It will never fall off of my neck and it is very light weight.

This is easily the worst microphone I have ever purchased. The stupid mic doesn't fit around my neck without making a clicking sound which prevents me from strecthing it for fear of breaking it. My friends tell me that I sound like there's a fucking vuvuzela in the background while I'm talking. Noise-eliminating my ass, I sit 8 feet away from my TV on low volume, yet my friends tell me to turn down my TV every time because the mic is too sensitive. Thumbs up this comment so people don't buy it

nah but i own one of these and have disassembled it. the "mic sits directly against your throat and the only hole on it is sealed directly against your throat. it picks up the sound vibrations directly from your throat not from the air so explain how thats not a throat mic? unless you own one and have handled and dis assembled it how can you make assumptions?
