@philam64 Is the one you've got broken then? I saw that on there, didn't you fancy one with a smaller screen or have you already got a screen, or are you being greedy and having two kaoss guitars (i was thinking of doing that). That MOTP effect is spot on, would it work on cubase LE?

@TheMuseik Ah none of the sort! You see my current Kaoss guitar is broken, it was a destroyed Kaoss Pad. How it broke is a long story, but this MIDI kit is for my new guitar!

advice, dont ruin the kaoss nano pad. just buy a nintendo DS replacement touch pad off ebay, it will do exactly the same.

Kaoss Pad Mini won't work cause it doesn't have a MIDI out. i asked the guys at Manson guitars, and they said only the KP-2 or KP-3 will work with it.

biggayal1992?! it would be interesting to know where you got all these. you should make a tutorial, id nearly pay to find out. or pay the next time you make one.would a kaoss mini pad screen would work aswell? the touch pad might be able to fit just beside the pickups where your hand would usually be. at the moment im not too bothered if it was at end of the guitar because you have to stop playing to touch it.appreciate if you could let me know if that is possible or not?thanks

Also, can you make a video or a tutorial on how how to do this? Like for beginners. I just bought a KP-1, and want to install it in my guitar but I am not really sure how to get it running through distortion and other pedals.

You don't have to have it, but the screens are glass and fully transparent. Without a opal transleucent backing plate you will see you routed cavity and LED etc beneath the screen. The plate also severs to spead the LED light across the screen
