Before you type something stupid like that,please get all information. Communist got power in 1945 and that's why many clubs are formed in 1945, but Serbia and Yugoslavia have much older football history. For example football club Sumadija Kragujevac was formed in 1903. Yugoslavia and Serbia have better tradition then Turkey not in the means which country have older clubs, but in the means that Yugoslavia was among best teams since 1930,and had better clubs and players.

I remember this team, they were good but alas well beaten by England (2-0 and 4-1)in the qualifiers and they sort of lost their way after that. Interesting to see that Dejan Savejovic was playing internationally as far back as '87. I feel that the team that was ready to go to Sweden four years later was truly formidable and ready to possibly become the next Slavic power in football. Then enter the Balkan conflict and that possibility vanished.
