@OkieAnimeFarmer I dont know. but I dont think they would be very good meat rabbits since they are MINI rex. if you are looking for meat rabbits you should find a larger breed more meant for meat. but again im no expert so I dont really know
@OkieAnimeFarmer I would suggest californians or New zealands for meat rabbits. flemish giants are decent meat rabbits but tend to take up more place and can be a bit "lanky" through the body. What I use is Cal Doe's crossed with a flemish giant buck. californians are also know for being rapid growers meaning they can be dressed earlier that other breeds. :) hope this helps.
My doe seems to always dig when she pregnant n she seems to start pulling out her fur on her due date.... this time she had her litter on the 32 day... I heard they give birth in 30 to 33 days
what does it mean when the doe is in her cage digging all the time? she wasn't doing this before but she's been digging a lot ...she was breed 6/11...I know I'm suppose to put in a nesting box 28days
@mzTayTay17 That means it wants a nest box NOW and you should give it to her. They can have their babies at 28 days and some have even had them on the 38th day.
can mini rexs make good meat rabbits if you give them high protein food?
