The strumming pattern is challenging. My husband drew me a diagram using arrows. Up Down Up Down pause Down Up. I would practice that rhythm with one chord to get it down. Once you get that, you can do the chord change in that pause, so it will be Up Down Up Down chord change at pause, Down Up. It takes lots of practice!

@raeeshahtrestha the best advice i can give you, granted I'm not Aldrine good, I have only been playing for like 5 years but take it very slow. What helped me early on was having a chord sheet and just working with the chords. not worrying about how they sounded together but just learning the sound of each chord. and starting by just playing down up down up down and so on... Ukulele should be fun, it will be hard at first, but something else that helped me, was finding others who i could ask

This is how I learned it:

You pick the second string then strum down then pick the second string again and then up down up.

there a thing called an ear lol. im sorry but this kind of question gets me a little mad. just listen to the timing and if its as close as it can possibly be then your on the right track. plus its a variation of what and how you play. strum pattern is basically prefrence. who knows you might be able to do a punk cover of this song lol
