So the Asians all went back to the gooseneck hinges, why? Honestly if the box of toilet paper or cup noodles don't fit in the trunk, just put it in the back seat or make someone hold it, if they complain they shouldn't be traveling with you to the store anyway!
Take a look at the TP loaded into the Camry. Yes they fit into the trunk BUT the package is right below the trunk arm with no room to spare. And ofcourse he doesn't dare to close that trunk lid because it's obvious that the TP would have been smashed.
@PuppetKing I agree. the only prob is that if u have 5 people with you it could be a problem. When my mom has to buy a lot of food and she runs out of room in her car, she puts it in the backseat.
What a great idea to test the trunk space of these sedans. I drive a 2008 Chevy Impala, and it's huge trunk (over 18 cubic feet) is one of the things that I love about the car. The rear seats fold down too, which comes in really handy to put my bike in the back. If I was going to choose one of these sedans, I'd probably choose the Fusion or Malibu.
this is a way better test.. because it is just soooo pointless to know the 0-60 times on these cars... whats even more retarded is when they do speed test on minivans!! who cares how fast a grand caravan goes around a slalom !!
@mellowdalyricist Hopefully that good stuff will come along later this week or two. Carscom figured they'd space this competition to get our interest up, I think.
I'll take the Hyundai Sonato 2.0T over any of those cars when it comes out. Screw Honda, Toyota, and Mazda. Low quality pieces of shit. Suzuki good job with the Kazashi. And Ford ehh not a big fan of Ford.
@cladimere Yea, Nationalist, Yea that is it. I just point out what I see. I see a idiot packing a trunk. You wouldn't have a clue who I am. That is right I REALLY LOVE AMERICA sure. Thats it. You know everything through a line of electrons that run to you computer.
I could have made all that fit in the FORD, quit putting this stuff in videos on purpose. The American's are the ones that helped kill the American Car.
@cladimere well, I still think one of them could hold that cup o' noodles box on their lap hehe-honestly I don't think small differences in trunk space should be the main concern when comparing cars in such a highly competitive segment
@batsain..its is amazing. If your a sportier guy, all the altimas have a CVT transmission with manual mode. If you have a small family and go on long drives, the altima never upsets and has amazing MPG on the highway!
Ok now close the trunk.

shouldn't large items go in first? This guy doesn't really know how to pack.
But I think I would take the Ford if I was shopping for such a vehicle.
mrjost55 1 year ago 16
Is this ever relevant? I don't imagine most people go grocery shopping with a car full of people so the back seats would be usable right?
