I think Children of Men was amazing, but I'm upset that he directed the third HP film, he took it in a weird direction. Chris Colombus should have kept going with them IMO, but Home Alone was awesome too. I love Peter Jackson, but I am unfamiliar with Baz Luhrmann.

I really enjoyed Prisoner of Azkaban, it's one of my favourites, actually, besides Order of the Phoenix. Chris Columbus was good for the first two, but I like how the new directors started giving the films a new look. Baz Luhrmann directed Australia - that just came out a couple of weeks ago - Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge and Strictly Ballroom. Otherwise known as his Red Curtain Trilogy. Australia is pretty good, but it is really long. You should be prepared to sit for a while with that one.

yeah, i pretty much like all the films - i try not to get to caught up when they don't have some tiny detail in the films. i see them as adaptions and that's it. but what you say about Heath Ledger is true. I don't know if I would have liked him in the role of the Drover. I think Hugh Jackman did a great job, to be honest.

It's not so much what they leave out, just the look and feel of the movies. And after John Williams stopped doing the music, it wasn't the same. Well even though I haven't seen Australia, I'm glad Heath didn't do it, because The Dark Knight wouldn't have been the same without him.
