Italian58, I'm no expert on Italian cars (more so on the Swedes, as I've owned Saabs and Volvos), but if I'm correct, the speedometer and tachometer needles "floating" above the 0 reading are an Alfa trait. I've driven a few '90s Spiders, and in my observations the speedo needle didn't start moving until around 15 mph. I guess it's something common to all Italian vehicles. But the Swedish cars do have their quirks, too.
I see your fan switches act as volume controls as well! (At least your's doesn't squeak!)

whats the reliability for one of these? And is maintenance expensive?

car was sold to VooDooXII and the speedo is not broken thats where the speedo needle stops at. I know the car is in good hands now.

Is the speedo broken? It looks like it reads 10 mph although you're standing still.

Jsrosa1282 speaks truth...it's not broken, just "weird." That's just how the needles fall.
