It's a real gift not only for Christmas but all the year round. What a pity that there are only two videos of Andrei's on Youtube - this one and
"Andrei Korsakov plays Kreisler". I know only of two CDs by him(luckily I have both)
Does anyone knows whether there were others? I highly appreciate your effort thekid, thank you!

since he made almost all his recordings in sovjet union under melodya you might try to look in second hand lp shops... he recorded a lot there from paganini waxman wieniawsky tanejev chausson sarasate ravel saintsaens etc... good luck in your quest

Thank you , Egon! I have several LPs,namely,withconcertos by Mendelssohn, Bruch, ,Paganini,Vieuxtemps, Stravinsky, Conus + one LP withSaint-Saens,Sarasate, Chausson&Ravel and 2CDs. The Lps were all purchased when he was still alive. I was happy to listen to him live, but only once. Do you by any chance know anything of his daughter Natasha. She was a promising violinist but then left Russia...Am glad that young people like you know this splendid musician Andrei Korsakov.

What a beautiful gift to hear Natasha the beauty playing together with his teacher and father Mr Korsakov. He Kid, it shall not be so difficult to hang a video with Natasha playing currently, you will discover it as a great experience.
