  • The ball is FLAT and he is hyperextending his lumbar/thoracic spine

  • @altforfit Please, the crunches are painfull to watch, do you NOT see him hyperextending his neck!!!!!???? Doctors are not fit to instruct!

  • Purposely we have you looking down at the floor when doing the cobra ball exercise so that your neck is in neutral, and not hyper-extending.

  • this looks like it hurts

  • There can be mild central discomfort in the lower back when the extension exercise but this is "centralization" where the gelatinous center of the disc is returning to the center fixing the bulging disc. Afterwards, you should get good relief of your lower back pain.

  • Thank you so very much...this is exactly the information that I've been searching for. I just bought an exercise ball because I'd heard that it is good for helping with a bulging disk. I'm determined to do EVERYTHING that I can to keep myself from ever being debilitated and enduring that much pain ever again. I'm adding these exercises, taking vitamins, losing weight, walking....lol! I'm grateful for this easy to understand video, as doctors seldom explain it so succinctly.

    Blessings, :*)
