@DeeStylistic And to add to this comment. If some of you knew the level of practice that the Koreans put themselves through routinely(12-14 hours/day), they are being remarkably humble. Maybe that's something we foreigners should learn something from. Even when these Koreans diss you, it feels almost polite - they don't want you to feel too badly...they actually do care if your feelings are hurt beyond what's intended.

@m89733 I'm not trying to put the guy down. He certainly did a better job than I ever would hope to do translating anything. However he kept stuttering and saying umm a lot. If he worked on his nerves and public speaking skills more before the next tournament I would love to see him back. If not I think MLG or GSL, whoever hired him, would do better if they got someone else. (Like the ponytail guy)

Thorzain had a hard path too, no shame for his first MLG. For now looks like MC got his revenge and depending on how you look at it, they're either 1-1, or 2-1 in MC's favor. I was ecstatic to hear MMA pick Thorzain out of all the foreigners, he realizes Thorzain's star is on the rise and can become a force in due time. Although I have to think MMA might be a better Terran player than Thorzain, either way. Wish Bomber was able to play though, maybe in the next MLG if he gets Visa issues settled.

Plus i think he did a good job seeing as he is probably some one MLG just picked up. as MLG get more popular to Koreans you will expect better translators but this is the first event they came.

having worked as a Korean translator myself, I know the tough parts of translating back and forth, in long chunks. However, I was really concerned with his overall ineptitude in Korean as a whole. You could march into any private schools these days and pick up an Korean immigrant and their English will be phenomenal. (let's just say I'm one of them too:) ) Overall, I think he was very nervous and was not very farmiliar with Korean. His vocabulary and sentence structure were
