okay this is just my interpretation:

it's talking about a breakup. basically a guy and a girl break up & he's saying that he's happy they're not together anymore. When he goes to her house to breakup with her he thinks about all the good times they had and how they're bittersweet now. And she's upset and says she doesn't want to be friends. But he can't stop what's been done, all the pain that's been caused. He's just glad to be moving on. But he still looks at her as a good (but sad) memory :)
