I've known Keith for a long time. He's an honest man. If there's one thing he knows about, it's fishing. No brag, just fact. Too bad you readers can't just sit back, enjoy the video and be happy for Keith and his monster catch! If he said it was 33" then you can bet it was 33". Like he said, he used a formula to calculate the weight. He's usually pretty "right on" with his calculations. Please refrain from making any "jealous" comments. I suggest you Call Cpt. Barnes and catch your own.
At the time we did not think she was over 10lbs,but I do think we were off a little,I do think she was over 10 lbs but not by much. Her weight was only going by her deminsions. Her length is accurate given the 2 measurements. We made the right decision in releasing her by not knowing 100% of her weight.
Thanks for the reply, but as for the 33" she was definitely that long, but as for her weight I can only guess.I was merely going by the formula.I have a 33" 9.7 lb.on the wall right now that I caught in Trinty Bay about 8 yrs. ago and she did look and feel every bit as big. In your opinion what would you think of her weight.Again, thanks for the comment.

if you thought that cast was 30 yards (90 feet) than you probably would think that spec was 33".

33"?
come on.... even the camera man sounded like he didn't believe it was even a 30" trout when you got it out of the water.
That is a solid fish, but it's no where near 12lbs
