@stangredemption Why would they thank you for getting out of the car without being asked to? I'm assuming your story is bogus, the rule is always stay in your car with your hands on the steering wheel unless asked to step out. Anyone could tell you that, and cops often flip their shit when people step out to talk to them or for whatever reason, without being asked. It's common knowledge.

Seems like a clear violation of "false imprisonment" with the fake traffic stop, and "impersonating an officer under the color of authority" to me. These guys should be arrested for detaining the citizens under false pretenses. Not funny at all. The fake cops are lucky they didn't try and harass some dude with a felony warrant what wanted to shoot them.
i wish we had cops with a sense of humor here. maybe then wouldn't be so gung ho and wanna chase people down and give em tickets for 5 over the speed limit if our stupid academy trainers weren't people that were picked on in high school and have something to prove now.
