I dislocated and broke my ankle the same way (not playing soccer though) his looks a little worse than mine--i only fractured my fibula his looks to be both tib and fib and probably messed up the syndesmosis like i did. I'm back up and running around pretty normally and its been 7 months (i was doing pretty good at like 5) so only time will tell.

i think he landed awkwardly when the goalie was charging out to him, its just one of those unfortunate injuries but its a horrible career threatening injuries

would be a great loss for football if he fails to recover........hope he'll be ok
