What an adorable video! I looked high and low for a good budgie bath tub and thought I had to settle for one of those tiny plastic things with a mirror on the bottom. It was ok, but your budgie just loves that larger space to splash in. Great idea - Tupper Wear!
aw so cuteee! Im gonna put a tupperware with water for my budgie..the other day he tried to have a bath in a glass of water!! lol I recorded it, I will leave you a video response!
i tried to put them in the sink but they got scared and flew away.il put it in a small container like dat and they jst ignore it lol there very suborn :P
@K9girl29 i tried that with the more tame budgie (he totally trusts me) but it still didnt work I think he was scared and tried to get out.I dont dare try with my other budgie she doesnt trust me as I got her from petco when she was over 1 year old.(harder to tame them when they get older,i got my other budgie when he was 3 months)
@sportsgirl4444 I got a female budgie when my male was 1 year old. Up until then, Angel never wanted to bathe. He got a little dirty and was a little ragged, but the day I put out bath water and released both birds, Angel cast a worried glance over to Sky and jumped in the bath dish xD
@BillieTheParrot That happened with my cockatiel :( He was looking ragged for weeks, until one day he fell off his food dish He dies 7/6/08, and I remember holding him to my chest the day he died, and him snuggling up to me for warmth. Amazing how an animal can bond to you. I tamed him when I was 6 and he was 4. He used to be very mean ,and bit me till I bled, but y 6 year old heart knew what to do :')
@amax7895 Wow that's really ironic. I had two budgies at one point. The girl was named Angel and the male is named Skylar (though I call him Sky lol). That's so funny. Unfortunately Angel got sick and died about a month ago :( She was 9 years old though. Sky is still alive and healthy though despite being almost 10.
@BillieTheParrot aww i feel bad for you :'( my budgies had a fight and my budgie died i was my favorite one! so you struggled but there was blood and broozes every where so he died but we bought a new one but it didn't feel the same i been through pain like you though but i knew i had to go on but i can't i was with a big bond with it like you were i wish he didn't die don't worry he's in heaven now i good place maybe he's playing with my bird right now and it makes me sad to hear this
I want my budgie to take a swim but he doesn't want to.

@mofoexpo You could try putting it in something heavy. Like a ceramic pet bowl that is designed not to tip over.
