This groove reminds me a lot of "Act III: Modulate Back to the Tonic" by The Sound of Animals Fighting. Not saying he's ripping it off or anything, it's an awesome groove. More drummers should experiment with it.

Can't wait for the new album. Took me a long time to appreciate and start listening to Armistice. I think I bought it and then didn't listen again for about 6 months, at least. Recently I've been listening to it nonstop but damn if there wasn't something about it that got in the way of that upon its release. I don't expect that to happen again, though, so bring it on!

Awesome drumming from Darren as usual, really looking forward to seeing the Odd Soul music video (which I presume this is a rehearsal for?).

Weirdest thing though - I was listening to Rebekah Raff's mix of Auntie's Harp (originally by Flying Lotus) and the two videos synched up perfectly to create this amazing fusion of styles.

One of those sweet little moments life throws at you sometimes I guess.
