machang of course i have heard of chity, he is the best vocalist sri lanka ever produced. I have gone for few of his gigs here and germany, and he is good. But even he isnt upto the standard of top level metal guys. I am yet to hear a sri lankan having a 3- 4 octave vocal range.

Maldives and Sri Lanka are on par with each other, in terms of comparison in the rock/metal scene.

I personally think Maldives has a few good bands, so does Sri Lanka, but both of them have one awesome Metal Band of their own.

hell yeah man..i saw serenity dies just a couple of months back in sri lanka and they were freaking awesome..and stigmata..what not about them??..metal gods in sri lanka..interms of originality n stage presence stigmata rules...i havent heard much from the other maldives bands though..but sure they are good too...and sri lanka has a large number of metal bands...and its getting better and bigger..hails to south asian metal heads.

Yeah..Serenity dies is a kick ass band..buth there are some other good metal bands in maldives..give a listen to Tormenta's-Defy ,Dittorehead's-Hellraiser,Styg­ian shores-Lambs,Locura-Decomposed­...they are some good demo's by the bands
