  • I am sure that Germany must hold a special place in there hearts. It was there in Hamburg that they first started to become poular with an audience!

  • i wish i had some bratwurst or liverwurst right now. this song is making me want those 2 things!

  • I love this song, what I can't stand is ppl who have no other avenue to voice their disdain of life, so on youtube vidoes they decide to voice their opinions

  • she'll eat dick, yeah yeah yeah

  • She lick dick? lol

  • She loves dich! yeah baby!

  • Registered version in Paris January 29, 1964 !!!!

  • German is an awful language... But i'm Dutch, so I can understand a lot of it.

  • descansen en paz

  • >.o I hate the way they pronounce the words... It's cool that they performed some songs in German, but just... *twitch*

  • @Carolanne1001 Yeah, happy birthday John :)

  • all i understood was the YEAH YEAH YEAH part..haha it's awesome

  • @xLoveMusicForever Haha technically it's "Ja Ja Ja!"

  • @xLoveMusicForever i understand it all, just look up the words of she loves you! (LEARN GERMAN WITH THE BEATLES!)

  • ja ja ist zer gut..... sorry practicing my german

  • ti li ti yeah yeah yeah

  • GEORGE AND JOHN, please come back.

  • The Beatles plus the awesome language of German? IT CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!! Unless I had a taco...

  • @georgeharrison22543 Get a taco, then.

  • Is this Paul and John singing, if so why are they singing in German

  • @husan11 It is John and Paul and I guess they wanted a wider audience, or maybe they just did it for shits and gigs.

  • @husan11 Cause there just that skilled

  • @husan11 They reckoned it would give them a better chance in the German market if they released a song in German. Nobody know at the time of course how big the Beatles would become and that language issues would quickly become irrelevant. Also worth bearing in mind that English was not widely understood in Germany back in the early 60s. The Beatles could all speak a bit of German but they wouldn't have written these words themselves, the song is actually quite skilfully translated.

  • @haggisman1971 I thought they used to perform in Hamburg and Liverpool in their early days. I never understood why. I figured the four of them were Military Brats of British Soldiers stationed in Germany or had some family or personal connections in that country.

  • i have this cd! :D

  • <3

  • Sabían de la existencia de esto DDD:?

  • @LekaStar01 Yo la tengo en stereo y con calidad 320 kbps

  • Sehr sehr gut!! Ich liebe es!!

  • dieses Lied ist genial

  • Ahh, so this is what would have happened if we had lost...

  • hehehehe, so funny English accent

mit dir allein kann sie nur "glououououououououklick" sein *LOL , i love it

  • their pronouncation is bad but i love this song more now that i know its in german and im so buying it on itunes.

  • sie liebt dick.

  • I like the beatles and all.But Japan is a little better!

  • i don't know why but this version is starting to grow on me

  • wow sounds like english xDD

    i speak spanish lol

  • i want someone to tell me that about a girl i like

  • Who knows German? Do they sing it well? Did they translate the song word for word to German? Would the common German person in Hamburg understand this well and sing along? Always been curious about such things.

  • @1967mustanggta they didn't translate it exactly word for word, no. You can hear their english accent (especially on some words like 'ja', 'dich, 'gehen' or 'freuen' it's strong) but it's pretty good. Yup, the common German person in Hamburg would understand this well and sing along. ;) (always been curious about such things too..hehe)

  • @1967mustanggta she loves you yes yes yes.. you think she only loves me? yesterday I saw her she only thinks about you and you should go to her oh yes, she loves you it can't get more beautiful and you should be glad about that you hurt her she didn't know why it wasn't your fault and you didn't turn around she loves you, yes yes yes because alone with you she can only be happy you must go to her now apologize to her yes, she will understand and then she will forgive you
  • @reiserhythm Hey thats pretty cool. Thanks a lot. I'm sure many others will be interested in reading your post here.

  • @1967mustanggta Yeah, they sing it REALLY well actually & and its exactly the same lyrics. :)

Yeah, every german person would understand it without any trouble. no problem!

  • Ach ja....German...what a beautiful language....<3

  • SHE LICK DICK YEY YE YE

  • I have this song on my ipod! Lol. Is that weird?

  • This is so catchy! I love this version :D

  • Grow up.

  • she lick dick..

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

  • @Limited305 : Not really, I think. I know it's difficult to translate a rhymed text into another language and it should still rhyme and fits with the number of the syllables, but the text is completely different. Or did you hear in the english version something about diamonds? :) But the Beatles haven't translated it, it was a man named Camillo Felgen- they did'nt even want a german version! But the english version was in Germany way more popular... :)

  • To be brutally honest, I prefer this version over the English one...

  • She Lick Dick yeah yeah yeah.........THE BEATLES FOREVER!

  • My sister can speak German. I'm am planning on telling her; "Sie Liebt Dich, Beth. Sie Liebt Dich.

    I await the results. o.O

  • she licks dick ''yeah yeah yeah''

  • I think that it's hilarious that when singing this version they sstill sang "yeah" instead of "ja." Lol. :)

  • @stefmagura Well, "Ja" is still "Ya" in english. They use the latin alphabet (J's are pronounced as our Y's)

  • in some parts of germany it could translate to '' she loves dick'' if you say it in ''germanglish''

  • This is what theyre listening to in the 60's of a parallel reality where the nazis won WW2.

Of course, replace the classical suits for Hitler's youth uniforms.

  • @Georgian909 kann leider kein georgisch sonst hätt ich zurück gefeuert^^

  • @Georgian909 schnauze

  • Well like any language certain words will sound different in certain areas of the country. It's she loves you. But in certain parts of Germany; dich is pronounced "dick" and in other parts it kind of sounds like dish. Sie liebt "dish" or Sie liebt "dick" either way it still translate as She loves you.

  • Yeah Yeah Yeah

  • 2 people are unloved by her

  • lol i like it better German

  • Brings back some great memories of being stationed in germany.

  • Uhm, It's Sie liebt dich.

She liebt dick is saying she loves fat.

She lick dick is just immature. C'mon, grow up. K Thanks.

  • @DaniL731 first of all get a life second of all learn the language

  • @77electioneering Uhm, excuse me? I hope you weren't insulting me and just agreeing. Because I know the language and I have a life. Thanks.

  • @DaniL731 Nice.

  • The hairstyles they took up wearing n droped the Teddie duck tails for was from the German 'Exi' scene. A group of German beat-likes were called the Existentials. They wore their hair in ancient Roman style.

  • Actually they had some of their first successful shows abroad in Hamburg / Germany, and one of their closest background members and friends was Klaus Voormann.

  • Even in German they rock!

  • SIE LIEBT DICH, nicht DICK

  • She lick dick. YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!

She lick dick. YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!

  • @tmlfan1977 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @tmlfan1977 .... your an idoit, but i laughed so i cant say anything xD

  • @frenett1 Then, I did my job! lol It was actually my dad (of all people) who pointed out that it sounded like "She Lick Dick". I have the utmost respect for The Beatles and their music, but ya got to admit. To the untrained ear, that's EXACTLY what it sounds like!

  • Is it just me or is Paul's voice louder than anyone else's in this?

  • Sie Liebt Dick would mean "She loves fat"

  • whos the one fag who didnt like this

  • @IngridBonde: C'mon-- not liking this has nothing to do with being gay. It does have everything to do with being an errant bit of DNA that should have simply rolled down someone's leg.

  • @IngridBonde the butt fucker of the other 8

  • The Beatles rock

  • @maffia1212 you suck your a gay quir

  • @maffia1212

  • I've always wondered, to German speakers,

did The Beatles do a good job on the translation?

    Lol

  • I'm amazed that the translation works so well.

  • lol i thought they said she lick dick but i saw the title and it said german XDDD

  • I think they should have used the west central dialect.... It sounds better! Sie liebt disch. haha

  • Sie liebt dick, also keine Diät!!!

  • I come from Germany and they speak really good german!

  • @friendofidiocy lol yeah (ja) lol i love how tokio hotel is always like jaaa jaaa hahahaha :) i love them. do u kno them?

  • Comment removed

  • no, ja is German. Ci would be Spanish :)

  • @natureperson420 "ja" means yes in german, pronounced "ya". In spanish, "ja" means "hah" in enlgish ( or jaja = haha )

  • she lick dick yeah yeah

  • Glad that didn't play "hey Jude"..

  • "Hallo, Juden!"

    Haha, that would've been funny.

...especially if they combined it with the German version of Get Back (Geht Raus).

  • HAHAHAHA " Hey Jew " so true

  • Sie Liebt DICH, not DICK

  • @Koekepanneke it sounds better "she lick dick"

  • strainge...

sie means she, and liebt is loves so thats fine, but dick means fat!!

which would translate as "she loves fat"

  • indeed it would, which is why it's dich.

  • This is equal to 30 orgasms.

  • sim talk!?

  • sheep lick dick! yeah, yeah yeah....

  • I actually like this version more than the English one!

  • ik, same here, it's weird lol.

  • I noticed alot of the comment that people think they are saying dick it is suppose to be dich which is german for you in the accusative form. just thought i say that so people know now great song i love the beatles

  • The Beatles take up in 1963 with "She loves you " and "I want to hold your hand " two of their biggest hits specially also in German for their German fans - there cannot be a nicer thank-you in Germany with certainty. Unfortunately, something like that is absolutely inconceivable in our today's time. Pity.

  • i ahve this version on my ipod! its cool to be albe tosing this in a differant languge they normaly do.
