  • that was asum

  • Heeeeereeee AIIiiiiii CooooMeeeeee....

  • if you pause and press 123456789 really fast it appears in normal motion

  • EEEEEEEKK!!!!! BEE BEEE!!!! KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!!!!!!! I AM TERRIFIED OF BEES, wait, then why am i watching this?

  • wow

  • lmao imagine they actually flew that slow and watch the vid..

  • bahaha it looks like its goin WEEE LOOK AT MY WINGS *flap flap*

  • how to get highest rated comments on youtube (insert comment about chuck norris) (insert comment regarding justin beiber being a total loser) (insert comment regarding the number of dislikes) (insert a pointless comment regarding vevo controlling youtube when nobody cares) and last but definitely the least, make a GOOD comment regarding the ACTUAL video with a relevant topic and positive attitude towards it.

  • @avivsfilms You forgot posting an immature comment that tries to make a sexual connection with whatever's going on in the video.

  • Comment removed

  • KILL IT

  • how did you catch this video without scaring the bee

  • I like how it's body doesn't move at all, just the wings. It's like..frozen in the position. Kind of like when I'm sitting at my desk at school and my teacher asks for the project that was due last week and I still don't have it.

  • did he die?

  • one of its wings looks broken

  • Nobody in human history had seen something like this x-d

  • my favorite part is when there is a bee.

  • The wings move exactly like a huming bird. Makes sense.

  • I like the part where the bee is flying in slo-mo

  • I wonder what would happen if the object in Slo mo affects the sound as well.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzoooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • FAKE, IT GIVES NO BEES!!!

  • lol bee.....

  • @aris9990 And just who is going to pay for all the video you watch???? The servers that you upload to cost money the bandwidth of the video that you watch also costs money. There are many costs involved in bringing you a FREE service. Oh yes just in case you did not notice the date it is January 15, 2011 today.

  • @ultraslo

    Jan 15? My b-day! XD

  • @ultraslo and advertising MORE than pays for all of it

  • @Christopher7789 But that is what aris is against. We need the adds to make money to support production to entertain you for free. That is the way it works. The money needs to come from somewhere.

  • @aris9990 umm... its january 15th... you missed it by a couple days...

  • @aris9990

You do realise you posted that AFTER the 10th of Jan, don't you?

  • @aris9990

god your an idiot, it costs millions to keep a site like this up. have you not watched the social network yet?

    it's very informative

  • @aris9990 haha your a fucking idiot, you know that right..damn ur stupid

  • @aris9990 It's owned by Google.

  • so that little wing is only there to disturb the bigger one?

I mean look at 1:09 it gets slapped in the face all time LOL

  • @seusgordo im sure it is usefull in a great way. Mayby like the little rotor on the tail of an helicopter to control turning.

  • Oh No!!!

    I Blinked!!!

    P.S.

Something looks wrong with its wings

  • that's a bee

  • fart on a candle 5000 fps

  • @S1ick10292 SCIENCE

  • so THATS how you fly

  • that is one fuzzy bee

  • I thought this was going to be a bee flying 5000 fps lol

  • @purse1234 fuckyoubitch

  • bottle thrown at justin bieber with 5000 fps. WANT!

  • Anyone else notice how the bee's wings have the ability to snap-rotate at the start of the up-stroke, minimizing the drag and loss of lift? The wings are literally slicing through the air during the upstroke. But the bee seems to have fine motor control over all three axes of motion. Kind of like helicopter rotor control, but much more advanced. Truly a miracle of nature.

  • @geeleegoat Long, unnecessary comment.

  • @ZekaFTW

Thanks for the advice. I forgot there's miserable illiterates trolling the web. How's this for short...FCUK YOU.

  • @geeleegoat FUCK* :)

Yep. I'm the illiterate one. ;D

  • @geeleegoat And it is called evolution!

  • @Baboutoo

Interesting theory. I presume you've read Darwin's 'Origin of Species' in its entirety? How do you suppose the irreducibly complex system of enzymes and neuro-feedback needed to manifest this biomechanical feat evolved? No one versed in the theory of evolution has ever been able to explain the actual mechanism whereby these systems would evolve, considering the prerequisite intermediary molecular steps, which in themselves would be selected against for their uselessness. Thoughts?

  • Hehe its unny for many years bee's where magicians, cause science couldnt figure out how they flew..wingspan weight etc

  • i wanna see a guy shooting at the bee at 5000 fps

  • that bee should get an oscar for that amazing performance

  • hey whered that fly get that fur coat?

  • Awsome!

  • It would've been funny if at the end, a giant fly swatter just kills it in slow motion and it splats on the camera

  • 5000 feet per second? lol

  • @videofreakguy frames you retard

  • @videofreakguy Frames per second...feet wth???

  • They fly just like hummingbirds!

  • holy shit that's awesome

  • lol nice camera

  • that would be around 10 sec in real life lol

  • @TombMan12

Actually, it's less than half a second, if it's played back at 25fps.

  • 5000 fps nice^^

  • nice camera

  • Its fantastic

  • lol it looks like the smaller wings are just getting hit by the big wings..dosntlook like they are even doing anything

  • you need the smaller wings to divert :p

big wings are enough to fly :)

  • Sony's and Panasonics 200+ Hz TV's are all rubish...

This however, is totally awesome :)

  • You're all a little misinformed. The human eye does not collect information in "frames". It transmits a continual flow of visual light to the brain constantly. The ammount of frames per second required to make this flow look consistent or smooth varies. For consistent images, 22 frames per second or higher will do, although for varying white and black images, the video will appear to flicker until 60 frames per second, at which point the feed will appear grey.

  • @ThisAccount1001

you will comment for ages, at which point no one cares

  • @isitcoal

    dickhead

  • @stevey2020

how about a nice cup of shut the fuck up?

  • @ThisAccount1001 You are my Hero.

  • @ThisAccount1001 i bet i wulda lived perfectly fine without having to know that

  • @ThisAccount1001 You just blew my mind

  • Discovery Channel's The Human Body Episode: Sight. I believe the eye sees at around 30 fps. No more than 40 though

  • doesnt the human eye see in fluid motion? they just cant catch everything they see

  • dumb

  • 60 to 65 hz in the center of our eye. In the corner area it is way higher. You can see that when you look on an screen with a low refresh-rate. When you look past it, so that you just still see it, you may see the flickering, what you do not with the center of your eye, because of the lower fps.

This is probably just useful to notice movements out of your eye's focus.

    lakana321 is totally exaggerating.

Already 14-22 fps (depending on the person) you will experience as a smooth movement.

  • the human eye sees more than 60fps... probaly 200-300... maybe up 1000

  • @lakana321 72 is the max the eyes can register, 60 i what the brain processes

  • that might be, but as i said 100-200 ... 100 is also very close :)

  • huh??? human eye doesn't see more than 25fps

  • it does

  • have u ever seen milisecondes before? if not ... u need help

  • @lakana321

if that was even remotely true, then old tv's that have a refresh rate of 60hz would look like a slide show. Last time I checked tv's looked like motion.

a human can register about 22 frames per second or so... anything beyond that looks like a blur, or if pictures line up: moving object.

  • human eyes have no "fps", unlike with cameras, eyes transmit information continously, not in separate chunks.

  • its wings create a vortex that lets them hover and fly

  • their wings like turn as they fly... whoa. crazy.

  • 5000 hätte ich auch gerne, aber 210 sind auch nett.

  • what camera is that?

  • reminds me of treading water, except in this case, the little bee is treading air

  • there is no way the floppy thing is displacing the right amount of air like wtf dood

  • A bee's wings can flap 200 times per second.

Bees can in fact carry more than their own bodyweight, larvae and nectar being prime examples of what kind of loads they can reliably handle.

  • whoa

it dont even uses the 2nd wing

  • now I see how they fly

  • they're taking 5000 frames per second, and spreading that out to about 30 frames per second (usually what normal "real time" video runs at). So 1 second of 5000 fps makes 166.6 seconds of 30 frames per second video. This video is 95 seconds, so in actuality all of this was filmed over .57 of a second.

All of this is assuming they optimized the use 5000fps and played it back at 30 fps

  • do bees have to think about flying? or is it one of those unconscious things like a heartbeat?

  • Probably not, seeing as they arren't always flying, but our hearts are always beating, no matter what we're up to. But thats just my guess.

  • they think about it

  • yeah but i mean do you think they think about flapping each time i mean 52 per second is a lot

  • it's not like moving an arm. they think about flying, and the wings move by themselves

  • So if it took 1 second for it to beat its wing does that mean it can beat its wing 5000 times in 1:35?

  • if it took 1 second to beat it, it would take 5000 seconds to beat 5000 times.. thats using wat you said..

im pretty sure it beats its wings alot faster

  • mabe it can beat its wing 5000 times in 1 second

  • No its 1:35 at 5000 fps so it can beat its wings 5000 times in 1:35 So it beats its wings at 52.63 per second for this bee.

  • HURR IM A BEE

  • What? I thought bees rotated instead of flapping? like a helicopter

  • LOL

  • next time 5000 fps pee

  • @geevoguuvo

I get it, piss joke heheheheheehehehehehehehehehe

  • @geevoguuvo yo... ill volenteer for that

  • @geevoguuvo xDD

  • Sweet!!!!!!! :) KUDOS! 5*s

  • hahahahahha lol watch its wings they jiggle

  • Wow, this is in slow motion, dumbass.

  • He's in bullet-time dumbass, he gonna take us over.

  • i bet the 10 thumbs up is people laughing of this comment while watching the video, i did ;) Awesome dude :D

  • how can its tiny wings support its fat little body?

  • by flapping insanely fast, i would think

  • because of the way it flaps them. bees don't fly like birds with lift vs weight and drag. it rotates its wings to create a wind vortex, essentially it flys like a trailor does in a tornado. the two smaller wings in the back are to stabilze its self

  • this is not a bee this is SPARTAAAAAAA

  • I never saw a Sparta

  • scip a few seconds if your getting the circle and it will play

  • all of there videos have some sort of lag in em. like seriously, the whole bar where you can "seek" the video is fully red, and im still seeing that wierdo circle made out of Dots each one glowing white in clockwise motion ever half second! Its like "Bitch! get the fuck out of the video!"

  • I think it's just youtube bro, youtube has so many fucked up little glitches now, every time they fix one they create 5 more...

    dumbasses...

  • If you just click 0:01 after it starts, it will return to it's usual state.

  • Thanks, that worked

  • noob

  • oh yeah, well F*ck you.

  • noob XD

  • i wana see some 1 run in to a glass door face first at 5000 fps

  • hahaha me 2

  • True That (y)

  • Wow, an argument about religion. On a video about a bee. Why am I not surprised?

  • maybe because its youtube? :D

  • its youtube duh

  • yo guys im not on any side but u knw theres no need for all this racism and discrimination against religion, ect

if u hav thoughts then keep them to urselvs

most of the time u just sound like an ignorant, arrogant fuck when u go on like some people do

    thts it...

    ...peace...

  • 1/5000 fps? or am i worng?

  • hai guys, pls think , will these amazing creatures be automatically created? but atheists say so.the rejection of God is so dangerous.if God is able to make such amazing things,he is able to do anything to us too. v may challenge God now.but wen u get a serious fever..then u'll start praying.if v wanna win in life .. v have to learn all religions, compare them and accept the true one..like many ppl do..now a days.v have to learn WITH OUT prejudice.

  • 0o, tht might be true, but when i was about 7 my dog died of cancer, mom and dad got him 5 years before i was born... So he had always been there, and suddenly he wasn´t. So every day for 2 months i prayed to "God", when i had gone to bed, saying : May i see my dog once more? only once, please!?... do u think i did??? im not saying tht it cant be some sort of god but im sticking to the "technological" theories, but u all may feel free to belive in gods :P

  • There have been great advances in Science that have cured ailments that people have died praying for. Im sorry but your brainwashed babble does little justice in a world that offers such intolerable cruelty. Day after day the world witnesses pain and suffering through all aspects, whether your a believer or not. I have witnessed very religious people suffer through cancer. If there was a devine being then im sorry where is he, and at what point will he/she appear (notice i dont us upper case)

  • god doenst exist so how can he harm me :).

  • GOD EXISTS YOU HOMO! IMA KILL YOU! haha, joke, :D we all know GOD DOES NOT EXIST. you know whats funny? when christians say god created earth, and we say " No he didnt" and that "god" created creatures? if you say that "God" does not exist, the only thing they say is: "He does, because he created us" wtf, i wanna kill these homos. the only argument is: He always have and always will. and that PISSES me off!

  • ye thats right, stupid christians only think that what they think is right, and any other option (thats waaaay more realistic) is fake.

just like that condoms are bad -_-.

  • lol, if the po(o)p said in a speech: Dont use condoms! tha nsuddenly there would be a boost in HIV and AIDS, cus all the christians are mind manipulated zombies that follow orders from the vatikan, but that would be a good thing, cus then chrisians would die....hmm. DAMNIT! i wish i were the pope :/

  • pope*

  • lol ye just say to them, kill yourself and you will end in heaven, and they will all do it :).

  • thats true, indeed. just like the cult "Heavens Gates" where the leader manipulated them, sayingthe only way to heavenis by suicide, and 36 of the members kill themselves by cutting the main arterie or what its called not sure, im not english xD

  • XD it'd be nice to have that kind of power.

Then again, I don't think it'd be too hard to have total power over idiots like christians.

  • no need to be rude man

  • It's people like you, the immature ones who don't have any real back up, who make the atheists with the reasons and the thoughts and high intelligence look bad.

  • i wish my pc ran so good that games fps went up to 5000

  • mINE GOES TO 140

  • nah its not that good,,, i think this video is a bit slow:)

  • holy shit thats awsome

  • r........u.........serious

  • I bet this bee is smarter than some of u ppl here lol.

  • how can u say ? by logically or scyntifically or by theoratially ?

please prove it...i m very keen to know ur answer..

  • Just think about it for a sec im not going to waste my time. Oh btw its scientifically, try to spell correctly if your attempting to be smart :D

  • Yep. Bees dont post stupid comments like yours.

  • I MADE THE BEE

  • wooooooo!!! an atheist jew !!!

  • well everyone, its a bee... regardless of who or what made it, its a bee

And its utterly amazing too :)

  • Okay youtubers let me get this straight,

YouTubers+Bee video+comment allowed=religous, not focused on bee concept conversations?

    Okay :D

  • OH MY GOD! (<---that was very funny).

anyway, i think its nice that you have your stands, and want to debate it, but please, can we talk about that bee now? (it is one of god's creations =D unless you belive in Allah, in wich case; it is one of Allah's creations =D)

  • I don't know, I came into this debate after it had already started.

  • I didn't start the flame wars LOL. But that's a pretty bee...happy?

  • why is it that every time i wanna look at a video of something kool

someone always has to bring up religion of some sort on a video that has nothing to do with religion

    grow up people

    and if u cant

maybe u guys can use the message deal they have on here so we all DONT have to see these retarded arguments

    and for godsakes

    if ur gonna argue

    get ur facts straight first

all i ever see is some crazy psycho bull shit from people that doesnt make any sense

  • LOL, drag the timer back and forth to make it real time

  • THAT IS AMAZING!!!
