i use the semi's as battle rifles, so they aren't crap at close range and absolutely rape people with no scope, seriously using the "No Optics" option usually improves my accuracy

i only really play hardcore., but let me tell you, this rifle, with the x4 russian scope (no scope flash ;) ) supressor and grip is a fucking RAPEKIT.. especially in TDM or none vehicle conquest etc..

@cocosaw75 hardcore is the best thing. its the best thing on mw2 to. hardcore makes weapons more realistic when it comes to damage, you cant watch 3rd person on a vehicle witch aso is good when doing a dogfight.

IMO the QBU-88 is the best semi-auto sniper for the recon class. My personal fav mid range sniper and also rapes with the RDS or RU 3.4x

QBU-88 is a squad marksmen rifle its not really a sniper rifle

I put a 12x ballistic scope on the QBU-88 and because of it's low recoil I was about to pick off people from up to 250-500 meters, so I wouldn't say this gun is like the Sks it can be used like a normal bolt action sniper if you can adjust for bullet drop!

I find that I get more points using the Assault class; when I'm reviving everyone whenever people all bunch up in hallways and such.. but maybe Im the only one that gets more points using Assault :/ *shrug*

But my main class is Support. For me I'm ALWAYS dropping ammo. I think of it this way: a squad of 3 with "unlimited" amount of ammo is more effective than 1 who can shoot 100 (or 200, 46, etc.) rounds.

The L96 is great, just take off the flash suppressor so that your accuracy isn't messed with, it's my favorite bolt action now over the M40A5 ;)

@explorer617 its a bit slower to reload and re chamber than the others, but mutch more powerfull. its my fav together whit the L96. you unlock it right after the m40. i think it is the... 5th or 4th unlock for recon. whit 44k exp. there is no special level throu. at the beta i got it in lvl 14. now i just got it in 30.

@explorer617 Well you can unlock it around level 12 or so... assuming you go full recon when you start playing. It only has a 5/6 clip, but it does 95-59 damage without a headshot. It's a 1 shot headshot at any range, and has the highest wind resistance in the game.
