why is it that the previous PGs are more mechanical looking than the new PGs today. I mean the new PGs are just like bigger version of the MGs

so from a pg you can snap them together to? cuz am planing to buy a zaku pg but i want to know if you can snap them together and if you have to paint it? i dont want to paint it. =P btw how much does it cost in usa $?

dont get me wrong, i love gundam, and the zaku zaku is my favorite model type...but other than the cool hydraulics, it seems to be less poseable than the 1/100 MG MS-06J Zaku II Ver. 2.0 types. as far as showcasing more reaslism the PG seems to far outdo the MG but as far as articulation it seems the MG v2.0 seems to be the one to get if you set up scenes or diorams or just like to pose your models. it is veeery nice though

all of these types of model kits are easy to build its how far you take the modifying and painting that raise the dificulty level

Silence is golden. This was an easy build. It is comparatively cheap. Get it if you like Zaku II's and want a big one.

and if you colect gundams u have to have a zaku no colection would be compleat without it

that's right! The crystal clear armour sets were available for both the PG RX-78-1 and zaku II. I'm toying with the idea of using a combination of clear candy and metalic colors with these custom sets. But the results will be pretty crazy for sure!

when you make this does it come like that in the video or like you have to screw everything together your self

its a massive plastic kit with instructions for you to build it yourself. You will need a screwdriver for some parts. Mostly it will just snap together.

If you've got a PG Zeta, I'd like to see what you've done w/ yours. I've got one, and have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it was fun to build, has lots of weapons & gimmicks, and looks really cool when done. On the other hand, it's a floppy, uncontrolable mess that's barely able to stand straight, let alone pose. Maybe I did something wrong, as it was my 1st PG, but I kind of doubt it. Anyway, a vid of yours would be cool to see.

Well, I've only got a digital camera that has a simple movie mode, and I don't have any movie editing software, but I'll see what I can do. Currently I have no other PG kits. I'm torn about whether to get the PG RX-78-2 or the PG Strike for Xmas. You don't seem very enthused about Strike. Is the Strike a bad kit, or if not, why don't you seem to like it? Any info you have about either kit would be appreciated.

Great design, newer kit, better build... but more expensive. RX-78-2 is good but Strike is better.

I don't hate the Strike. It's just others have already posted Video's of it, so why not focus on the PG's that no-one have done yet...

Yeah, you've got a point. Well, I think I'm going to put Strike on my Xmas list this year (along w/ skygrasper + aile striker), so I'll probably know soon enough what it's like. I'll probably get PG RX-78-2 next year or something. Oh, and BTW, there's a really cool gundam video on youtube called "It's Name is Gundam". If you get a minute check it out.
