How does a like or dislike for a fighter degenerate into a race war?
Brandon Vera has what is possibly the sickest Muay Thai at Heavyweight. He's a decent guy and a good all around fighter. People tend to dislike him because he will tell you straight up what's o his mind without holding back. That and his talent earned him the name Truth.
He injured himself early in the Sylvia fight, but the dude will be back and better than ever.

I've got my money on Vera. His reach is just short of Sylvia's, his jab is more accurate and faster, and most importantly, his thai boxing skills means he's going to crack Sylvia's legs in half. The guy's best weapon is the one Sylvia's never really had to encounter - awesome technical kicking and knees. Sylvia's tough to get on the ground. This is the first guy big enough (tall) and strong enough to take him down and choke him out.
in MMA world experts are convinced that VERA will own SYLVIA ,in SYLVIA'S last two fights all of them are fucking 5 rounders,he should not be an UFC champion, VERA is like GSP,they fight the same!FILIPINOS are WORLD'S BEST
Vera has talent but has not been tested. I have never seen the guys chin tested before. So the question i'm asking Whats going to happen when someone like andre arlovski cracks him? Who knows. Hes seems hyped up like robbie lawler was. Everyone was saying lawler was going to be they next WW champion But never make it thier. I can see him Becoming the HW champ. But the LHW champ i don't think thats going to happen unless chuck retires or Vera waits till chuck gets too old to fight him.
