Death Magnetic is so-so. I think it's the production and the vocals that kill it for me. The music is 80% cool, but perhaps they'd just be better off expanding on from the 70's hard-rock vein of Load instead of trying to recapture old 80's thrash glories? It seems slightly ingenuine, especially where the lacklustre vocals are concerned.

great song for them, the only little beef I have with it is that it should've ended quick with that crash/freeze (tool like) pounding at 5:43 it would've left a little more of an impact, like some metal songs do with that stop short quick ending.

cause after 5:43 seems to regress to a "Reload" feel and kinda just drags it out.  just my opinion, still like the song.
