The track will be closer to the head if the braid is smaller.

I think to reudce pain and go for a more natural look or as you say and even more "soft look" don't do her braids so thick at the top as you go, and french braid her hair then gradually add the weave in, it wont hurt as much and the braids wont lift in the front. The braids will be much smaller and look more natural that way.

It can last up to 4 or 5 weeks sometimes longer ....put no oil find something that is oil free just keep it tied down every night and well comb n u should be fine n if u do wash it while TS still makes sure ur hair I'd dry not just the weave @sguishy89

@imsocoolinit No Oil??? That's the main reason why black people are not able to retain their growth. Black hair needs oil. If you use and applicator bottle to put oil between your tracks you will be fine. I do that and I leave my weave in for up to 12 weeks at a time. And No my hair is not damaged or short. Its too thick (no perm) and up to my bra strap that took me 3.5 years to get from scratch
