  • Went to my finace's Naval Training Graduation this year and I have never been more impressed with a drumline like I was at the graduation. Fantastic! Hooyah Navy!!

  • Why do people down talk other branches? I mean when it comes down to it all branches do their jobs and get whatever needs done, done.

  • i leave july twelfth, GO NAVY

  • @Crypt1cmyst1c I leave the 13th Hoorah! See you there!

  • my twin brother his here right now proud of him :)

  • What kind of a hater fag put dislike???

Oh right, apparently Wi-Fi just reached Kandahar!

  • Homos

  • Thanks so much for your service :) CANT WAIT TO GO TO BOOT CAMP THEN Gunners school THEN SEALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IM GOING IN TWO DAYS!!!! CANT WAIT

  • i am one who doesn't agree with the war, but for those who are going to, already at, or coming back from the war.. my take my hat off to you all... you guys survived something most civilians that dont wanna go through and to protect us...

  • @at ironcitydevildog

First of all, I have respect for all branches, my family has covered them all and anything from enlisted to officers. Second, the USMC did come from the US Navy. Third, it's college, not collage.

  • I leave in about a month!!! I can't wait to get on my training!! Honor Courage and Commitment!! GO NAVY!!

  • @SoundsVocalistic me jan 11

  • @SoundsVocalistic Honor courage commitment is a Marine Corps saying and I'd really appreciate the Navy quit saying it cuz there is no comparisson and the Navy is as undisiplined as the Air Force!!!!! Believe me...6 mos on USS Enterprise and 6 mos on USS Harry S Truman. Join the Corps!!!! Well at least your serving and aint running to collage like a bitch!!!!! Have Fun!!! Semper Fidelis!!!!

  • natural

  • i got placed in a 900 div.. flag company (wow, big deal). we had 15 wash outs and 5 (one week) set backs. we also had an E-6 and an E-5 from the airforce in our company. they kept quit for the first week??? we had only one CC. MS1 Aires. this dude had eyes, not only in the back of his head......everywhere. he knew everything. before FMJ came out, he sounded just like r lee ermey. he (Aires) took a swing at me once, on purpose.

  • @theratfarmer Go MARINES!!!!!!!!

  • @ironcitydevildog If your in the Marines, check what your Military ID says in the top right. If not, STFU please

  • @burns1112227

UMMMM, lets get some shit striaght real quick, We're in the Mens department. Remember that! Get on your ship and go sailing.

  • 2 weeks till boot camp.. navy baby

  • @Devin0357 ~IASF;I HL W;IHLA GE;LHA GEL;IHAEW Q RP'W H5E90RP IBAHSDPA BE IKH BAEOLA BELKA LK BAE/; JLASNEL/;HBZ/L BS/KS BA'PIRAEA 4WH! I CANNOT WAIT TO GO TOO. What are you going to be doing?

  • @caligulaincarnate For one, when I get there ima beat your ass for typing all that random gay shit, Two.. Corpsman.

  • @Devin0357 Hahaha my brother's name is Devin too, and I would love for you to have a go at me mate! I'm going to be an aviation technician. Can't wait to me you mate!

  • i did not want 900 div.

  • 6 Days until I'm in boot camp...holy hell.

  • @DimeLivesInUs 3 more days mate! I wish you luck! I'm going in December!

  • @caligulaincarnate Thanks man! I'm stoked as hell! Good luck to you too! KNOW YOUR GENERAL ORDERS!

  • @DimeLivesInUs They are the HARDEST to learn for me!

  • @caligulaincarnate Just keep reading them out loud, and say the number of the order as well as the order. I took a psychology class and it also helps to have imagery to help with remembering things. So maybe put a picture that somehow relates to the order (ex: for the 8th general order, have a picture of a guy pulling an alarm or something). You have plenty of time, just read them out loud 10 times a day and you'll learn them.

  • @DimeLivesInUs Yeah I usually draw and write in order to help me studylike I did with marches and dresses. I'll give it a shot. Right now the only one I know is make sure someone is there to take your place when you get down from duty, and I don't even know which order that one is! Well thanks for the advice, I'll use it!

  • @caligulaincarnate 5) To quit my post only when properly relieved.

    The easiest one

  • don't anticipate. don't wory about 900 div.. boot camp is only .......8 weeks of your whole life. it's cool at the time, then you get on with it.

  • boot camp is not high school. yeah, i was in 913(86), so what? triple threat, flag and something else in the same building, right next to the chow hall. those buildings have been torn down, i looked it up on sat. maps. it was a great feeling to graduate from boot camp. i was on top of the world, because it built my character.

  • @theratfarmer I leave in about 16 days and was wondering how hard it is to get into a 900 division? I've played percussion and marching band for years and would LOVE a chance to get to play again?

  • Go 900's!

  • too bad they dont do anything like this drum line shit at a navy boot camp graduation.

  • umm, yeah, actually they do...it just depends on the "talent" in the 900 divisions for each particular graduation.

  • i got goosebumps

  • sweet dude waht rate is that

  • they would be rateless if these r boot camp grads.

  • Cool video from a graduate of Great Lakes, and now a Proud US Navy Veteran.

  • Comment removed

  • would anyone happen to know the mailing address of the naval boot camp in great lakes IL?

  • try google

  • The snares sound like shit!

  • CORPSMAN UP! HOORAH

  • hoorah isnt used in any branch.

  • yes it is. retard

  • army = hooah

    navy = hooyah

    usmc = oorah

    air force = *silence*

u must mean OORAH. may i ask if youve even been in the service?

  • army in september. i guess it just sounds like marines say hoorah to me. they all sound a lot alike as it is.

  • My friend was joking.. It was "yoohooo!" for the AF!

  • Hoorah is used by the US Navy Seabees.

  • ah i see, forgive my ignorance.

  • Don't worry about it, jaepil. You're good! I didn't know Navy fleeters say something different until just recently. Looks like we both learned something! :)

  • my brother just left today from N.C to go there

  • god i cant wait to get out of my town i leave in Sept but theres a high chance i maybe leaving June :P yay for being a nuke

  • i liked it but afetr a while the ghetto came out of some and rich stuck up can out. the bored mess with people . but overall i liked it in the end. when you get out you can go for a ride on a wave but (a) school you have to wear uniform. no cilivan clothes for 8 weeks

  • my brother just graduated from here those drummers are really good

  • Leave in July, fuck Oklahoma ready to go NOW

  • man me too, july 9th... cant wait either id love to go now but id have to change my rate. i was born in 84 too.....

  • Blue2: You say that now. The first day you will hate yourself. Bootcamp isn't that bad. Just keep your mouth shut speak only when spoken to. Sleep ONLY when they tell you.

  • jbush04: the only mistake I see by these many boot camp videos is that there co-ed. Not a good thing. Do you want some mouthly female PO or CPO yelling shit at you. I'm glad when I went through Great Mistakes it was just guys.

  • Spooner gives good advice, just follow that and like Magill said, keep a copy of eveything, everything, everything. The thing that gave me comfort was that the other 80 people in your company feel just like you do, homesick, nervous sometimes a little overwhelmed but just keep going and prety soon you'll be overseas trying to avoid STD's just like everyone else. Stay positive and it will be the best years of your life.

  • mhia4: Yes getting past boot camp is a great thing. I don't regret my Navy time. And GL boot camp seemed alot less crazy then these current videos show.

  • i leave in 8 days cant wait to go to great lakes

    GO NAVY

  • good luck

  • keep your mouth shut get a bunk close to front they pick on people in back get alot of sleep day before you will get only 2 hours first day good luck

  • thanks for the advise i cant wait

    go navy

  • we didn't even get 2 hours.

  • we didnt either i just rounded it off

  • best of luck to you, shipmate. it's only scary for the first few days. then it's easy. after that, it's like summer camp.

  • P-DAYS SUCKZ!!! After that its alright, Battle Stations was coo too. DIv. 158!!!

  • I'm gonna guess that tune changed real quick. (I was there in '98 so I know.lol) Worth it though huh?

  • @chargerblue2 nice how is it? I still have 9 months to go =\

  • @chargerblue2 just wait till you get to the ship and your life sucks ass then you start losing hair and become a bald chief with a divorced wife with her keeping the kids and child support to pay,lol

  • @hackneo64 No shit huh?!!!!

  • @chargerblue2 GAY!!!!! OOH RAH!!!! You want real boot camp go to Parris Island!!!!!! It's not a dog and pony show like those squidlies perform!!!!

  • @ironcitydevildog Please stfu jarhead. Thanx.

  • @darcskies777 Well I only speak the truth since I was on ship and the squidlies were so undisiplined!!!!! We were supposed to respect Chiefs cuz they were FAT E-7s but we go by rank, not pay grade, and a Chief isn't nothing compared to a Gunnery Sergeant, and I got tired as a Sergeant having some E-2 pricks run their cock holsters!!!!! A PFC or Lance Corporal would never do that, or else there would be hell to pay!!!!!!

  • @ironcitydevildog hahaha undisiplined yeah right the navy is so disiplined and dude all the branches are in this together so please show some respect, thanks

  • @darcskies777 hey dude calm down were all in this together every branch

  • @chargerblue2 LOSING!!! DON'T DO IT!

  • @chargerblue2 fucking terrorists cunts!

  • Spooner your right on the money there. Ijust retired fromt eh navy in June of 08 just days before you graduated. Cant believe 20 years has come and gone so fast. enjoy your time in. Its over sooner then you think. One word of advice. Make copies of every piece of paperwork you do, even if tis so much as memo make a copy and save it, leave chits, school request , training you name make a full copy of it all. It saved my ass many times. as we used to say CYOA Cover Your Own Ass

  • This is effing cool.

  • I agree....kickass

  • why didn't they do that when I was there ... the drumline when I was there was boring... -.0 X3 <3 them though

  • can you sneak in an inhaler to boot?

With all precautions taken.(hiding in undies)

i know about the consequences so leave out plz.

  • they wouldnt that away if its medical like that they let you keep it unless its pills then they take and give to you as needed

  • Eh guess they do the drummin before they let the divisions in? I just graduated in August. Div 307

  • kinda wish i got in a triple threat div, but i was in a Staff div #911

  • not bad for begining drummers

  • hoo yah 900 division!

  • my brother is there right now =[ i miss him so much. he left june 19th. hes my hero.

  • anyone in the armed forces are heros

  • AMEN!!

  • @DynamicManic We are not heros we are men and woman just doing a job. Thank you though. BTW a hero is the guy who came home with a flag on his coffin. May they rest in peace.

  • I'm glad for him I wish him and you a lot of luck in the future :)

  • well in bootcamp its jus a twelve foot deep swimming pool and what you do is get on the end of a 12 foot diving board and they tell you to jump and its kinda a scary feeling and if you don't jump in there time they will push you I didn't even kno how to swim never been in a big body of water I got to the edge they pushed me and I freaked haha I'm sure he will be ok tho I didn't graduate and they held me I was there 5 months instead of 2 I wish him better luck than I had God bless :)

  • didn't make it to graduation division 203 ship 12 if you go to bootcamp make sure you know how to swim and run be prepared I wasn't great opportunity tho

  • <<Division 077, ship 13!!

  • Damn I was in your brother div, 301. DCFN LING.

  • Graduated 20Feb01, Div. 092....

    havent looked back since.

  • I Ship out 20080604 in white sox company.. swear in during the white sox game on field.. just doing research to get somewhat prepared for this journey..

  • I was 1999 White Sox company. It's a great experience. Just make sure you get 2 good night's sleep before that game, cuz you won't be sleeping much for the next week. ;)

  • i like cracker jacks, too. navy has the top percentage of gay members. who woulda thunk it?

  • Who told you that, your gay lover?

  • Wrong, asshole. do some research.

  • tbh, ironically I think it was the Marine Corps (no joke :-/) which is the last group I'd imagine. Regardless, who cares. Navy isn't homosexual so get over your stereotypes. Other than the work hard party hard, lets get drunk, stereotype. :)

  • That's frickin' bad ass. ^.^

  • HOOYAH division 376! oct. 26,2007

  • Hey man take it easy, you don't even know how you would be in a firefight and plus someone has to be in the navy, because with the navy and its fire support the army would be stuck in some sticky situations.

  • Division 913, Triple Threat, March 9, 2007

  • my shipe date is Aug. 4. but ill probably be going a lil sooner. Maybe ill see ya there. good luck!!!

  • i ship aug 5

  • Good on you guys... good luck through boot. Keep ya chin up and just push on through... hit me up if you have any questions. -CTT2

  • Hey im gonna head off probably late May-Mid June. I was wandering what you think is the hardest part of bootcamp?

  • Getting used to the politics, customs, and behavior that you're expected to abide by. Other than that, you might stress over all the stuff they try to teach you, but that's all that boot camp is. You're lucky in the fact that you have 6 or 7 months to prepare. What rate/job did you pick? Start running if you don't already, study the rank structure, and learn those general orders. =] good luck shippy.

  • I chose to be an Aviation Stuctural Mechanic, and ya I really need to work on my running i can only do a mile in about 8-9 mins. lol. Whats the time that they want you to get anyways? Thx for replying

  • Your expected run time depends on your age. Want to say that 17-19 1.5 mile run is 12:15, 20-24 is 13:15, 25-29 is 13:45, 30-34 is 14:15. If you can do 50 pushups/situps within 2 minutes, you're good... but those are the minimums.

AM... I have a few friends who are AM's, but I have kind of fallen out of contact with them.

  • well i think i can handle that just fine, need to work on my pushups cuz i should be able to do more than that. Thx for the info. man, really appreciate it.
