@falpalemily Nope, it's the biggest trick ever. He doesn't really pick her, because it turns out that Ben is really the Asshole, and Courtney fits in to hope you'll hate her so you don't hate Ben before the finale to ruin the show. lol
@pantarguitars I'm a guy, and I can understand both the the women who think Ben is handsome AND the ones who aren't enamored of how he looks. As a guy, I figured the Ryan P's, Blakes, Ben C's and Williams would be considered the good-looking ones by women, but I was amazed at how many women thought JP was good-looking. I had a short hair cut when younger, and it looked AWFUL!
@abysmalatrocious JP's looks wasn't about his hair, it was his face, that smile, those eyes, and he looked like a real nice guy. Ben is ugly as hell, and looks like a neanderthal, and acts and thinks like one too. He's an actor, much like Jake. Though Jake looked the part he played, at FIRST.
I'm not all that excited to have Ben as the next Bachelor. He seems like a nice man but I don't think he has the temperment to select a permanent mate on a reality show. I hope I'm wrong and that if he does find love it lasts. 4.5 years is a long time to still find have such unresolved feelings about the death of his father which speaks to inability to deal with real emotions. I lost my father and I think of him everyday but after a year or so, I didn't cry at that drop of a hat.
@ALRS1993 Intersting thoughts. I lost my father 9 years ago, and I wanted to kill myself for the next few months. And like you, there's not a day that I haven't thought about him, although there are many more days fortunately where it isn't sad or angry bitter thoughts. I can understand both Ben's, and your, thoughts. I wish that none of us three were in this awful boat of losing our Dads. I assume your Dad was much too young to pass away too. Sounds like u dealt with ur situaiton well tho
nobody has the temperament to select a permanent mate on a reality show. haven't you noticed that virtually none of the "relationships" formed on this show last? this is just a slimy reality tv show that throws groups of people together, gets them continually drunk & involved in a jealousy / competition drama. it's not sincerely about creating solid relationships. many things are done by the show to produce the opposite effect. it's meant simply as slimy "reality" entertainment.
