  • Really great! And your "Kanon in D", too. I've watched them both a ton of times now. If you were still playing together, I'd say you should try Salt Creek. Hope the years since you did this have treated you all well!

  • love your take on this tune...yall need to be pickin!!! :)

  • waiting to play until AFTER marriage? wow... my music partner just asked me to marry him. If I stopped playing music, something is wrong. If he stopped playing, he wouldn't be the same person. Of all musicians I know, usually marriage is the END to the music, kids are an END to the music. Play NOW while you have a chance!

  • Very well played. That acoustic guitar has an excellent sound.

  • Great job, just pick up the speed a bit

  • That was great! Keep up the good work!

  • That was so good! That sounded very very nice!

  • Old song from the 1800s with a new kick, great job

  • I did a version of this under devil's dream guitar. I'm the guy with the cowboy hat & my son in law (with the long hair is sitting next to me) I have heard many versions of this song, but your laid back style, & music almost seems magical. I can hardly get on the computer with out listening to your version at least once. You have got to post some more stuff. There are very few groups that have the ability to make a person feel good, even when things are bad. That is what this song does for me.

  • Thank-you! :) Unfortunately, we haven't played together for nearly two years now and I picked up the violin for the first time in a year a couple weeks ago. I'm very rusty, but I'd love to get back to jamming again once I'm married and settled in.

  • That was amazing...who is playing guitar in that?

  • They look kind of bored playing it... lol

  • Can you be sure of that?! ;-)

  • BTW its especially an amazing song when your playing it with 3 instruments of the string family im sure the fingering is diff than violin and guitar of course of the octavs ( prob misspelled that ) and stuff anyway I want to learn that song now x] THX FOR THE INSPIRATION i wont give up on my goal to be a good musician like that lol ( gave up on guitar cuz no one to teach me and i failed )

  • Good luck on practicing! :)

  • Omg that was awesome... The blending of the notes and the song itself in general was beautiful I almost teared up out of how awesome it was for real. I had no idea this song could be played on other instruments then again i've only heard it on violin a mill times. anyways I liked it =P Btw is that a banjo or another guitar thing o-o? And u should be in a band! bet ur parents are so proud I know i would be if i could play like that.

  • That was really good! But was somebody talking in the background? If so, tell 'em to keep quiet!

  • I used to dance to this song (on an old fiddle tunes record) with my buddy Paul when I was a little kid. Now I'm going to learn it! Thanks!
