Cigar Box Guitar is a style, a feel, and a sound more than anything. Slapping a factory production 6 string neck and electronics on a cigar box is not it. You play well, don't get me wrong, but you just miss the point.

@algolake - might not be a cigar-box guitar in the traditional sense, but I still think it sounds pretty good. That muddy, blocky sound lends itself pretty well to blues-riffs. :)

Hmm... unless you have some experience w/ wiring guitars, all you could take would be the neck. The bridge goes too deep to be used on a cigar box. what you want to do is set the neck into a cigar box somehow. i put 1/2 inch of plywood in to make it the right depth. then set the pickups, (routing should be very easy), then set the bridge and tailpiece, wire it and ur good to go exceot fir the finish.
