  • ok your hauling ass,on a few hundred pounds of steel on two wheels, maggs the size of grape fruit's shoot a bazillion amps into your nadd's,do you feel the pavemnt or are you still in shock, what a way to get your heart started again geesh

  • electricity...shit just don't mix with nothin

  • these guys are nuts, first of all your lying on top of a top fuel engine revving at i dont even know...20-30k rpms ?, then your flying down the track at 200-300mph with absolutely no protection from a crash, you might call it brave but i just call it crazy

  • @MegaSpazztic Not even close to 20 or 30k RPMs, probably more like 8k

  • WTF? How can you get Electrocuted? Friction from speed?

  • It looks like he was flipping off the other guy....that woulda been a perfect epic fail

  • HOW COME THEY DONT HAVE THESE ON NHRA!!????

  • next to powerboat racing, this has to be the most dangerous sport.. these people are crazy

  • Look like he just got the shit shocked out of him... Sure enough after reading a few comment he did.. Well done!

  • what the hell did he lift up for

  • Red Robin? Fuck that Klondike bar, I'm out of here

  • What a terrific cycle ! Hope he is well ..

  • these things are ridiculous

  • larry spiderman! thats my neighbors brother just found that out when he said his brother runs top fuel bikes and wears a spiderman suit.

  • dudes got balls for jumpin off lol

  • Didn't know drag bikes had an eject button....

  • wtf at 0:57 some one is saying hes ok dont panick lol hard to believe u bitch

  • ........n nobody says a word...HAHAHA

  • The air caught a hold of him and pulled him off, thats why you must ride flat.

  • oh shit is he ok ? whats happen ??

  • Comment removed

  • he was all "fuck this bike, im outta here"

    like a boss.

  • Yeah...did u see that, babe? oops!4/22/11

  • Yeah...did u see that, babe? Whooops!4/22/11

  • "Did you see that, babe?". : ( 4/22/11

  • hmm, how exactly did he got electrocuted?

  • Bike racers have very small brains anyway.

  • I'm pretty sure it says "183 MPH" right there on the board... 200 my A**

  • @browningrage11 well you ignorant fuck he crashes before the end of track so obviously the bike is goin to slow down with no throttle

  • Try some rubber hand grips....

  • I guess he thought he could get off and run faster.....

  • @jonnyasprin lmao, I just busted a rib laughing, nice job

  • @jonnyasprin not funny

  • @jonnyasprin hahah ;D

  • @jonnyasprin the air take him dont make fun

  • @jonnyasprin

Damn you man, I was feeling sorry for the guy until I read your comment, and now I can't stop laughing every time I watch this video!!! Hilarious!!

  • a broke spark plug grounding out on the bike frame sent 44 amps of 80,000 volts straight into his hands, no wonder your gonna let go. full respect to 'sparky' hogan he got straight up..........what a geezer.

  • @paddyhyland 44 amps at 80kv, you are on crack my friend, or should be.

current in ignition systems, racing or not, is measured in milliamps, and even then a low figure. The voltage figure you quote may be a little high but it's in the ballpark. I assure you 44 amps at 80kv would electrocute godzilla and is not produced by any motor vehicle's ignition system.

  • @paddyhyland Erm ignition systems range between 15 000 and 50 000 volts, but have an amperage of less than 1 amp. If 44amps had gone through that bike it would have exploded into tiny little pieces.

  • @paddyhyland 44 amps? funny, he didnt die instantly, and explode into flames a long with the bike

  • @Kawasakiforlife7 Sure he would have been turned to burnt jam but as the human body is not a very good conductor of electricity and as he was not grounded to earth, he wouldn't have taken a fraction of the power. Enough to let go.............

  • @paddyhyland even if that was true (which it wasnt, the bike and him would have exploded with 44 amps) how could a plug give off 44 amps? thats impossible from a spark plug in any ignition system

  • @paddyhyland so.....a 3.25MW spark plug system....

  • I think he just had to go take a leak, you know how it is.....TF/FB rules!!

  • what the hell happend

  • OMG!! waht's happening?

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

  • 0:44 - 0:49

five seconds of fire farting lol !!

  • what did he do?

  • @xxXMisanthropyXxx got electrocuted thru the handlebars somehow an it made him fall off apparently

  • Kind of changes the whole meaning of the phrase "I wouldn't get out of an electric chair to get on that thing."

  • lol look at their racing position, they look like superman!!

  • 0:26

wtf... did he go back to the future?

  • I think he will NEVER drive a motorcycle for the rest of his life

  • @SuperStalion842 There's another famous video of him almost wrecking only months later. His bike slides on its side but somehow uprights itself.

  • @heartlesspinto does he want to kill himself???

  • @SuperStalion842 No, he just wants to go FASSTTER!! TF-FB rocks!

  • kinda looks like he was celebtating after the win!! Why didnt arm restraints keep him on the bike?

  • How it happen?

  • how the fuck you survive a crash that fast..... must have not been your time yet

  • anyone else hear "hes okokkk hes okkk" in the background?

  • 6.45 is insane!!! If only Politicians could work at that speed. Heck I'd settle for a 12.

  • when the accident happens, they seems relax?

  • FIRE FART!!

  • Dear god... Glad he lived through that- not just getting juiced- but I think I saw the poor guy's helmet hit the track first- at 150 mph no less.. The guys that do this for a living got a ton of balls. Hats off to them.

  • ok since the bike is supposed to be grounded to begin with to avoid any shorts in the electrical... how the hell did he get electrocuted??

  • @kaneda956 I wonder if the bike chassis was not grounded. Either a fault or by design with return wires for earth? Or maybe something shorted to the wiring and travelled up to the handlebars. Whatever, a freak, poor bastard.

  • @Snookenas 0.30mA at 230V is the cut out point for a trip switch if it detects the slightest leakage in a household electrical circuit, it most certainly would not kill you if it hit you. Thats the standard shock that used to be delivered in Pavlovian response type tests. The bike system could deliver a very high amp load through the frame, I've seen guys melt wedding rings crossing a circuit on a bike/car system. Your at 10 - 30 amps DC, very bad

  • @TimClynes That power supply standard really has no bearing here. The flash and bang volts are from the battery, 12/24V at high amps (much more than 30!....well over 100A of a big battery). What this guy gets is low current, high voltage(40-50000). If his heart is good, he will not die, but it is EXTREMELY painful and the natural thing is to rear away

  • hot chick possibly waiting on the side?

  • he saw that he will lose he acept that on his way

  • I'll just get of at the finish line , fuck stopping who cares if it's 183MPH .

  • He saw a spider

  • wow what a bizzare accident

  • Also if you were electrocuted that badly you'd be stuck to the bike.

  • @b9y ac sticks you dc belts you

    motorbikes are all dc

  • damn how many times you crash dood lol, poor fucker lol

  • Did he survive?

  • when ur going 200mph and you dont keep your head down wind takes you....

  • just wondering why the hell did he jump.?

  • @nitish210negi something ignited in his face.

  • stupid stupid stupid

  • I know these bikes aren't as loud as the t/f cars, but do they still shake the ground?

  • @jakenjuli ya.

  • I guess 183.05mph can be counted as 200mph

  • man.. is the bike ok?

  • That was stupid

  • There is no faring on the bike leaving the bike not streamlined therefore when the ride had leant up the wind has caught him and pushed him straight of the bike.

  • @TheBumcum - you're wrong. He didn't get blown off the bike. Yes, that can happen if you are going that fast and sit up suddenly but I dong think that's what happened here. I watched the video several times and couldn't figure out what caused him to fall off. Then I read that he was electrocuted and it makes sense. I'm not just a random person putting in my two sense, I actually drag race motorcycles in the NHRA and IHRA and I'm here to tell you... Not having fairings on the bike won't cause yo

  • he didnt get electricuted or anything, the bike has no fairings so the wind simply blew him off the bike.. u dont see motogp super bikes racing without any fairings do u

  • @TheBumcum so why dont they all just blow off?

  • Once upon a time, in a moment of madness, I though I'd like to have a run in a top fuel drag car (I'm under no illusion that I could handle such a machine, but still).

This kind of thing, however, is why despite loving all things two wheeled I've never even had a slight thought about riding one of these beasts down a strip.

Sheer, complete and utter bloody-minded insanity, and I take my hat off to each and every person who has the stones to throw a leg over a drag bike and gun it.

  • let out to much shit that what happend

  • Roasted nuts?

  • omg thats horrid. He must have gotten the shock of his life...(please don't hit me)

  • 6.45 second 1/4 mile.... WHAAAATTTTT!!!!!!!!?

  • did he die, he is a nutter

  • oh so he was electrocuted?? did the bike build static somehow or what.. Looks wierd anyways. isnt really a crash.. or is it? Bike seemed happy to trundle along all alone :)

  • it says bike in the left won .. 6.4 to a 6.8

  • So who won?

  • allways stay with the bike! bailing is never a op.

  • @MrJetjoe Says you, who I assume has never been electrocuted on a 200 MPH motorcycle. Tell this guy that to his face.

  • Ooooooohh BIG crowd for the top stool bikes!

fuck em off we want pro stocks

  • is the bike ok?

  • I think he was still a bit high from the night before and his friends dared him to jump at 200mph.... ;-)

  • Shocking!

  • He was attacked by a shark. My friends dad's brother was there. He saw it all.

  • that doesnt look like an electrocution? looks like the cylinder exploded in his face cause u can see somethin go flyin and him grabing his face and he just fell off. cause nothin would of electrocuted him on those bikes

  • @9DTS9

Actually, these bikes use magnetos...y'know, an electric dynamo being spun off the crankshaft & producing...ELECTRICITY!!!

  • was he okay? All these people think it funny, if he didn't die he would have had serious injurys.

  • why the fuck he jumped off lame ass wanted to suicide or something?

  • @Z1CO91 He was electrocuted, it says up in the description.

  • @kartz4fun hm k

  • i wonder y he jumped off da bike kept goin 4 like 2 more seconds by itself

  • ahaha owned!!!!

  • These guys have huge balls much respect to all of the racers

  • @elroberto35 hmm, no they have their balls crushed into dust.

  • yeah there is a spark to ground under the machine at 8-9 seconds

  • I swear at 8-9 secs there is a spark right next to his foot??

  • @Xbox360customUK

yeah i saw that to :o

  • No there was a violent pocket of air that lifted him off the bike ... keep your head down kids

  • ...On the bright side, he DID run a 6.45 at 183mph!!

  • did he die?

  • the guy on the spiderman bike is my dad and i freind Larry McBride, he is a legend in the top fuel bike world

  • сдуло то ли?))

  • i know that feeling but with a snowmobile

  • thats gotta hurt

  • When you sit up at 200 mph, for whatever reason, there's a certain amount of wind pressure. As in, enough to rip the faceshield right off of a typical stock full-face helmet, or enough to rip you right off of your bike.

  • i think he fell :(

  • a plug wire came loose and grounded on the chassis. We use aluminum hand grips and it went straight through and burnt a large hole in his gloves

  • @1gasoline DAMN! is he all right?

  • My guess is a magneto went bad ( they can toss out some SERIOUS amperage ) they are only inches from your body and leather is not a good insulator..

  • how did he get electocuted from the bike?

  • wow, did he say exactly how he was tossed from the bike? btw, great audio on this clip.

  • He'll be wearing electronic shielding from now on, is my guess. Is his new nick "sparky?"

  • eject

WOOSH... i never felt so alive. :D

    BAM!!!..... ..... xP

wakes up in hospital, Am i in heaven?

No, you are covered in electric burns from your bike.

    WHAT!!?,.... NOOOoOOooooo\\\....

.. he stopped breathing. what do we do? we do the only thing we can do, bzzzbbzbzbbzz SHOCK.

    ahhahaahhAHHhahhahHHHhaa,

    sir,... he,... he,... is alive!!!

    the end. -hehe

  • @bmw2go11 funny

  • @evaant14 tnx :)

  • @bmw2go11 no problem

  • @bmw2go11 idiot!

  • @princefranko what? it's meant to be funny..-_-

  • @bmw2go11 ah oki..

  • @bmw2go11 tnx for the story xDDD

  • what a dumbass

  • @tek44444 and you are?

    _logic fail_

  • @bmw2go11 oh the irony eh?

  • @bmw2go11 Have you taken your adderal ?

  • @iTzzEuphoriaaaaaa lol, had to look that up

and, no i don't have mental problems.

  • @bmw2go11 Lol

  • That is an amazzzing clip, and the audio is the best I`ve heard yet for a youtube Top Fuel bike event. It just shakes my walls and wakes up my neighbours. Glad that Hogan was OK and is still at it. Top Fuel Rockkkks!!

  • i likes my caw

  • i love top fuel motor cycle

  • o shit did he catch on fire? i would never ghost ride at 200+

  • the engines plugs grounded out and sent 50,000 volts at god knows how many amps through the frame and into his hands and chest, he didnt have much choice but to throw himself off or get into a load of pain like you cant imagine and then hit a wall at 150mph or so.

  • thanks for the info on that. unbelievable sh*t!

  • i might be a bit innacurate but im guessing thats pretty much it, been a whie since i was on the drag racing scene

  • @racedemon89 You realize that he's wearing leather and it's an insulator right?

  • @Naturepheonix and huge amounts of volts and amp like these cars could probably arc through that 1.2mm thick leather, everythign conducts electric, just some things better than others, those that dotn do it so well are called insulators

  • @racedemon89 Oh okay my bad.

  • @Naturepheonix i coud be long, but i hold my nose 2mm from monitors and tv screens and it hardly looks like theres sufficient wind there to blow a 250lb guy off

  • @racedemon89 True.

  • @racedemon89 Whether your nose is 2mm or 2km from the monitor doesn't mean a lot. Have you ever ridden a motorcycle to 100mph? What about 150mph? I'd bet my house you've never ridden a bike at 200mph. What you can see in this clip doesn't tell you anything about what the air is like at that speed on a bike.

  • @racedemon89 It dosen't make sense, if the plugs were grounded the voltage would have just gone to ground, no gap to jump means it's easier to get to ground. I'd say it's more likely a wire came adrift from the coil perhaps, but anywhere it came in contact with the bike it'd just go to ground, unless the bike became ungrounded come to think of it. One thing for damn sure he sure wanted off that sob. I don't want to think about which path the current took on this CROTCH rocket, oh oh oh shit.

  • @racedemon89 a took 5,000 off ma spark plug testing it against the exhaust

wow a made a funny noise

    but 50,000 ouch not fun

  • @racedemon89 0.30mA out of 230V kills you almost instantlly so i doubt there was much amp.

  • Why didn't he just hit the kill switch?

  • very good question beats jumping

  • lol he pressed the eject

  • SHOCKING...

  • cars are for me lol

  • yea i live in Denver and he was talkin on the kbpi morning show this morning and said that it blew 3 inch holes in his gloves and holes in his hands so he naturally lifted his hands up and the wind caught him and he flew off

  • dam this was at gainsville i was there when this happend the guy was fine just some scapes and bruises

  • man thats crazy he he survive that?

  • Would that engine fit into my RS125?

  • im sure it will...with some minor modifications,no problem

  • Thats mate....once fitted, it's the Australian 125 gp for me...atleast i won't be beaten to turn 1.

  • Prob fit into a honda cub C90

  • god damn.. i love these bikes.. the race is on 1 wheel the whole time..

  • A friend of mine knows Korry Hogan and said that the magneto wire on the bike broke and grounded to the frame, sending 88 amps through Korry's body so he jumped off the bike. It burned right through his gloves and into his hands. He said it was the worst thing he's ever felt. Amazingly he didn't get
