@rickyon He was surprisingly good on the Freaks of Nature album and on the Theres Know Place Like Home DVD, despite the slight squeakiness, his voice didn't sound weak or anything! He hit the notes perfectly and the way he was singing "The Wall" was breathtaking :)
THIS is real music. conveying an idea that can echo across the waters of many generations, instead of today's "Bitches N' Ho's" method wherein the songs are "Written" (if you want to call a three minute vocodered song about shooting up a convenience store written!) for only the purpose of achieving a reputation as the best pimp on the block
Someone needs to turn rich onto nutrisystems. Could be a little extra money for him in a commerical. Rich williams guitarist for Kansas lost 50 pounds eating man food!
That's Rich Williams just before he popped! Thank God he lost most of the extra weight and looks pretty good now! Very interesting version of this song! Not bad!
I saw one time one of Rich's strings broke on his guitar right in the middle of a riff, so you see him hustle over to the acoustic guitar and play the rest of it, while they where fixing the string. It was cool since Steve started playing with him to try and cover it up a bit, amazing they can adapt that fast to any given situation. And I do agree with you as well, he looks better now then he did in this video, and he even looks better then he did back in the old days lol.
Yeah he's awesome! When you consider that he plays a combination of parts on a lot of songs because Kerry is gone and Rags only plays guitar on the songs without violin you have to give him props!
I agree this sounds great guys...but there's no replacing people like Kerry and Dave. Kansas will always be the original 5 to me - great post, great song - thanks. Peace.
rich has such a soulful solo great melodic runs! Its a shame musicians talent grows with age but vocalists suffer range loss steve still pulls it off though! gives it a great go! I agree, as good as ever if not better!
Steve Sounds GREAT here!! wow!! you know it's very rare that steve sounds great after the early 90s. man!!

You haven't listened to a whole lot of mid 90s to the present recordings of Kansas have you? There are plenty where Walsh sounds great!

Good video. Although they aren't as good now as they were in the old days. Still good music, though.
