yellow fever scares me. i know know that the problem is misquito's and cured for fresh air and lots of liquid, but i am so touched with the book called fever and of course its yellow fever and sad for the people who were killed. so scared
Epidemiologists say there is no real risk for people who live in urban areas and don't travel to countryside or wild forests. The problem is that even when government says there is no epidemic risk (based on Epidemiologists opinion), people just do not accept as true, authorities in Brazil suffer from lack of credibility, but Oswaldo Cruz Foundation's reputation is irrefutable.
to bad the yellow fever outbreak didn't infect the whole government in brasil and the elite(like CEO"S of TAM) for they are the reason Brasileiros must suffer! Long Live the Communist movement in Brasil! Hugo Chavez will forever inspire us to overthrow this rotton system!
this land he is talking about ,,,, it's my land i lived there for over 11 years ... it makes me unhappy to know about this yellow fever and that many of my people are not vaccinated for it ... i hope they get rid of this sickness problem ... peace to you all in here ..
From what I've seen from Al Jazeera is great, they do reporting on everything around the world, not just the Middle East or US, you hear things from South America and Africa, Asia and so on. This is how all news channels should report in my opinion.
Actually AlJazeera is not allowed to report in many countries in the Middle East. It seems the leader of these countries have problems with facts reporting like you do.
There are many health risks associated with vaccines. Since yellow fever is caused by bites from infected mosquitoes, the best way to deal with this outbreak is not by vaccinating the people, but by draining all stagnant water from the environment, which will destroy the mosquitoes' breeding grounds, and thus eradicate the source of the outbreak.
Actually there is a huge program by the government to do that, all you hear on commercial breaks here in Brazil is a bunch of small 30 seconds commercials by the government letting ppl know to drain any water placed in containments. But I think the vaccines are also good, because too many ppl don't pay attention or take seriously what the government says.
there is no yellow fever in sao paulo

So what are you proposing...that the Brazilian government drain the amazon...lol
Daritto7117 4 years ago
No, just drain the STAGNANT water. That's where mosquitoes lay their eggs.
