I rmber a horrible experience once, i was playing metalopolis obs and they came in a party so they told me this guy juz started playing and i thot they were telling the truth since hes record shows he only played 3 ladder matches but then i got raped by the guy, then they told me the dude was actually SEA Grandmasters, and i felt a lot better, also, for all u sad bronzies out there, GO FOR IT!!!!! The way to beat zerg is to work on your defenses and go low tec then latter in the game when u get thors destroy those noobs. Protoss go low tec and destroy them by the 11min mark with tanks and marriens.

Put cost for cost units (ex: 1 marine vs 2 Zerglings= Micro your marine = no dmg and die,Viking vs Mutalisk=viking wins simple stuff really).Our only advantage over other races is that we can quickly remake a big swarm and tech switch easily but our dissadvantage is that if we produce too much drones or army units,we lose because then we don't have enough larva to make the other unit we are missing,unlike protoss that can make a probe and zealot at the same time. :)

Im Zerg and got placed into Bronze... I love Bronze because all the cheeses are predictable. If you go against Zerg, its 6 pool (counter with 7RR or 8 Pool Econ), if its Terran its mass Marines (counter with Banelings. screw stim, i make myself a baneline sammich :D) and if its Protoss its mass Void Rays or DTs (Counter: any combat units + overseer and Hydra-Infestor). Too easy.

Terrans : Basically its monobattles(mass marines,mass siege,battlecrusier all ins)

Protoss : Blink stalkers with Colossi and/or immortals

Zerg; 6pool or 10pool almost always unless you end up on a big map

Well, yes. That would be the natural progression.

It also doesn't hurt to use ghosts, tanks, hellions, and other units. But at a basic level, marines work very well. Fast ups with pressure allows for rapid expansion and map control if it doesn't win outright. Even against banes, infestors, and col, you can trade profitably by dropping, careful micro, and mixing in key tech units.

Though that is a bit outside the typical bronze match, yes.

Marine focused aggression is a very wide term, it can range from a 6rax allin to any marine drop. Most straight up marine aggression (aka attack at the front) are pretty easy to hold, simultaneuous marine drop and attack at the front is pretty damn hard, simply because you need to split your units right, and if you don't, you lose too much.

I've been 4gate'd as terran on gold 10 times, at least. I beat them every time. You just scout it and then drop 2 bunkers, expand behind 2-3 rax for defense and pull scvs for repair. I haven't lost a single 4 gating protoss.
