@bstasell This is actually 1968, not 1969. Jeff Lynne was in another British psych-pop band during this time called The Idle Race. He joined The Move in Feb. of 1970 right as the "Shazam" album was coming out. The first Move album to feature Lynne is "Looking On" which came out in Dec. of 1970.
I loved Roy Wood and I ended up marrying someone who looks just like him! And we're still married LOL :-) Great memories and great song - thanks.

@bstasell No, that's Roy Wood, who started Electric Light Orchestra with Jeff Lynne and then moved on to form Wizard.
