hey finally started to read SRV's biography by Patoski and Crawford. He mentions you guys a bunch of times in the book. I have been trying to imagine all those seedy clubs you guys used to play at and your encounter with SRV over the years. I am about 1/2 way through the book and decided to check out for many artist mentioned in the book and now I am putting together a playlist with all the not too well know musicians and it extremely cool being able to hear you and get a sense of that scene

I never saw another link in your message... but anyway I finished that book ...got annoyed by all the berating that the author(s) do of SRV. It seemed like 90% of the book was just a lambasting of "another guitar hero who was burned out by drugs". Its interesting to consider the many talented musicians that were from his circle of musicians from that time and place who never made "the big time" or have been recognized adequately. Which might have been SRV's fate had he not met the right people
