I would have puked at about 1:50. I went up with the Red Baron Stearman Squadron in 1998 and 1999. Steve Elm was my pilot the first trip. All the pilots were great guys. It's a shame they did away with that promotion.
I got to fly with these guys, too, while I was in flight school. They actually had me flying the Stearman. What an experience! I sure wish that I had a camcorder back then. This is great stuff!! :)
@MajBlood the red baron was not shot down by roy brown due to examening the body the bullet that killed him came through the bottom of the plane and through his armpit which was anti aircraft machine guns. :)
@loris1423 Actually he was shot down by Roy Brown, that is a fact. Your country itself is the one that credited Roy Brown with the kill. You really can't do accurate autopsies eighty years later. Those stupid Australians sure have done a good job at fooling stupid people. :)
@loris1423 you know in the british airforce they hade a guide to how to shoot down a german airplane it said "Dive Behind him and start rising towards him start shooting under him" meaning that the bullets could have come from an airplane
i got to go for a ride and do all the tricks a few years ago it was fuckin sweet!!! I was so upset when i found out that they were going to retire them
I got to fly with the squadron some years ago, and it wa a ride of a lifetime. The entire experience was incrediable. Bob was my pilot and he was gracious and an incrediable flyer. It is a memory I will never forget

When the hell did The Red Baron rise from the grave (after being defeating my Canadian Ace Roy Brown) and start going into the pizza business?

I got to fly around with 'em once back during the late 80s. We had a low ceiling that day so we couldn't do any stunts but it was still a lot of fun.
