i had this same surgery a few years back and every thing went rather well. as for the small pea shaped spot thats hurting i have the same thing and from what i was told its normal. if i hadnt gotten hurt again after i had gotten that surgery done my knee would still be fine but about a year after i got in a oil field accident and tore almost all the tendons in my right knee and as of this point i have had 5 knee surgeries.
this is something i am worrying quite a bit about... I have came to bend my leg today and it started to hurt in a very specific place where it has never hurt before... (had the surgery about 5-6 weeks ago) and then i felt the area and there is now a hard lump that is like half the size of a pea but is very hard to touch and it is where i am getting all of my pain! So i am asking you as someone who has made a video about it if this is normal?
@Guywiththetypewriter Relax man, its still too soon, did u see the video correctly, or do u really understand this procedure? Its a very contested method, since u need to hurt and to cut some healthy ligaments and tissue, u have to injury some healthy stuff from your knee, and thats never good! So, surely, it will hurt, u will fell strange, and there will be pain, for a long time, i did it + mpfl reconstruction, 3 months ago, and just now, thats starting to fell a little better so, be patient !!
