No one said it was a holocaust. Many people are just upset about how China would tell a child of only 7 years of age that she isn't cute or pretty enough to sing or be the face of their country. That's absolutely absurd and completely unnecessary seeing as that Yang Peiyi is super adorable and her voice only enhances her beauty. Not that she needs it.

I feel sorry for both the girls.The girl lipsynching because they said she wasn't good enough. And the other girl because she just let the 'cute' girl do it. I have a feeling that the lipsynching girl didn't have a lot to do with it. Someone probably just told both of them okay this is how it's going to be now and that's that. The chinese people who arranged this are the ones who are to blame here.
