@nervybanana You've got me wrong! The statistics are in! The number one selling music, for teens today is hip-hop and rap! That's not my opinion, it's fact! Guys like flava flav, tupoc, snoopdog, etc.The lyrics & music (or lack of) simply encourage the "hostility & illicit sexual behavior" that messes up there lives, or, get's them frikken killed! That sucks right?! "Larry & Lee's" music doesn't & NEVER WILL DO THAT! I'm not happy to have to post a comment like I did! This is music,, peace!!!

@geetarnut Firstly, there is a real and valid place in music for rap and hip hop. It's not all as you describe it. If you looked past the extreme you would find poetry. Gil Scottt Herron. The Herd. It's not all bad just cause you can't dig it. Music doesn't stop. It's always evolving. The trick is, trying to stay abreast of it. Even if you don't really get it. The music being produced by the young is real. Resist the urge to look back. Open your mind and your ears. There's more than jazz.

@nervybanana Sure, music, in definition, is NOT ONE VENUE! I agree! But, real meaning, positive expressions,, are just that,, positive! If a type of music leans toward the "socially deprecating", then it's not art, it's a burden on society in a sense! Because the pull, or leaning is to the negative, or "nutritionally lacking" symbolically! The old saying, "If it feels good, do it", well, we all know there is a limit to that saying!
