Surely the best way is to strike low - the higher you strike, the smaller the number of people trapped above. Not only that, the "terrorists" flew over a nuclear power site which, if they had crashed into it (it would have been a lot sooner on their journey than WTC) would have ensured the death of millions of people. If they'd waited an hour, WTC would've been filled with 50,000 people. So Bush and Silverstein blew the WTC at a time and heigh to minimise deaths - I'll grant them that.

This is from TWO 110 story high towers.

@Spindry96 - those other buildings burned for over 10 hours...the towers were made to withstand an impact from a jet....the engineer who designed the building stated that once the stresses were distributed the buildings would not have fallen....most of the fuel was burned outside the buildings and by the time they collapsed the fires were burning black, meaning they were oxygen starved....NIST and the Underwrites both stated in their final reports that the "pancaking" theory was not adequate

Areas in the towers did burn very hot. Just before the collapse of WTC 1/2 and 7 areas of the faces of the towers near the fires are clearly warping. This is not caused by explosion.

What Bush meant to say was — low enough to prevent people from escaping.
You see, the lower you place the explosives, the more people are trapped above the explosion/fire and the more people will die.
Simple slip of his forked tongue and everybody thinks he's describing 9/11. He never actually mentions either 9/11, the twin towers or the Pentagon, if you listen closely.
There's nothing in the entire speech which implicates either Bush or the US government in 9/11.

If there's a conspiracy behind 9/11 it would be a cover-up of poorly designed building material, not a cover-up by a government that could easily use explosives without a plane impact and still call the event a terrorist attack. The government is full of shit and we all know that, but they aren't the people with the most power. The power lies with the companies, groups who would get much more flak for poorly designed building materials.
