  • You wouldn't happen to have any films on the Cordoba or the '76-'78 New Yorker Brougham, would you?!!

  • @landyachtfan79 I might have one on the Charger from the same time period but no, not on the New Yorker or Cordoba. Sorry

  • @OsbornTramain You'll love the change we've made.......

  • My parents bought a 1975 Town & Country, brand new. They got rid of it in '79, the year before I started driving. What a car. I really miss that one. Ours had the optional smaller engine (the 400). Previous to that car they had a '72, same model.

  • That is still the prettiest car i ever seen (besides the 61 and 60 Chrysler 300 letter series) If i was a pro ball player, i would have a collection of mint and restored

Mopars and i would end up having 10 of them.

  • i like the cars, pity the video is of bad quality!!!

  • OH DAMN I WANT THIS. tell then I will make due with my 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

  • Most beautiful cars in the world.

  • In 1975, the only automobile manufacturer in the world that had a better breaking system for their cars, than what was on the Chrysler Imperial, was Mercedes Benz. The Imperial had better brakes than on a BMW and a Rolls Royce.

  • What this guy says in the video is true- these cars ride fabulously and handle great! I had a 77 Newport, and it was the best riding car I ever owned. It handled amazingly well for a big car and it went where you put it- you weren't constantly correcting the steering.

  • In the early 1960's, our neighbor and 18th district congressman, Wayne L. Hays, Owned a Chrysler Imperial convertible....winter cream with charcoal conv. rag top and it was huge....I think it was a 1960 or '61....What a stately Car...the huge bullet globe headlights and rear gun tail lights....Massive in size. Those were the days of real cars.....and things that were made to last forever. HTH in Wheeling,WV...

  • My father was strictly a Mopar family car guy. He used to own a 77 Newport, 71 Newport Custom, 66 300, 61 Windsor, 58 New Yorker. I wish i had a big Mopar to own and be happy forever.

  • @BNforever2009 My grandparents on both sides of the family owned some chryslers but my Dad was a Chevy GM guy. As a kid, i always loved the chryslers. Then i worked for a Factory owned Chrysler Store for 3 years.....best memories. I owned a 58 New Yorker, my first car. Many of our mechanices owned some of the cars you mentioned. Great cars...and I am now a proud owner of an Imperial Convertible and a St Regis. :O) Get one Soon! You'll never regret it!

  • what a nice piece of auto history! These cars were the best ever made.. the imperials were really over the top in luxury.... what a ride

  • I had a '72 Newport Royal, 4-door sedan. It had a 400 cid V-8., automatic transmission, 2 barrel carburetor.; 22 gallon gas tank: and got around 27 miles to a gallon of gas. Do you suppose it would be considered a clunker today?

  • Of course! Anything that isn't considered one by our rulers in Washington today would fit in the trunk of an old Newport like yours!

  • Why did people come back to Chrysler? In those days, the engines.

  • Man.I sure miss those cars.

  • What a YouTube diamond! Thanks for sharing it! An era when cars were what they were supposed to be and Chrysler was #1! I want a white Imperial with a red leather interior!

  • I have a 95% Original 1974 Newport. Original Paint. Original Interior looks like new. The A/C blows Ice Cold. I have owned many Chrysler products from 1979 and Older. I wouldn't have it any other way.

  • Those lucky SOBs that could buy those cars new!! I'll take my Imperial in Bittersweet (copper) with a Parchment (off-white) leather interior and a sunroof please... Thanks for posting this!

  • Great classics, today you can buy a MAybach and what do you get?

A crappy pregnant whale made of plastic touching like a toy...todays cars sucks

  • Trailer park boys eat your heart out!

  • OMG! I used to drive a 1975 chrysler newport in highschool! It was a realy nice car but man that was a big car! I used to call it "the boat". lol. It was canary yellow with a black hardtop and kacki interior. God those were the days!!!!! =)

  • These weren't just cars; they were stunning works of art.

There is absolutely NOTHING available today at any price that can match the style and class of these masterpieces.

  • WOW!!!! This is Awesome!!!!!
