  • why not a 130 dollar bike, and diet is about 80% of the battle. signed, former fat guy that refused to be ripped off by crap like this.

  • @58jtaylor That's great to hear that you have had the discipline to lead a more healthy lifestyle. Likewise, many of our customers have become more fit through the use of our product. It's much easier to maintain discipline with a short, intense exercise regimen. And, I agree that diet is a key factor.

  • To get a good work out you must work out at least 20 minutes whit heart rate not too much not too low. That was proved in some studies of american something institute, i don't remember.... So how you explain that this could do it in 4 minutes?

  • @ZboneWalker There are numerous studies showing the benefits of high intensity short duration exercise. Please perform an internet search to learn more. I'm not trained in exercise physiology so I am unable to explain in detail how high intensity training can benefit you. However, I can tell you from my personal experience that a daily 4 minute workout on the crosstrainer is more effective for me than a daily jog of 30 to 40 minutes plus I no longer have issues with my knees.

  • Why to pay that much? It's free and more healthy and effective to go for a 20 minute jog.

  • @ZboneWalker Four intense minutes on the crosstrainer are more healthy and effective than a 20 minute jog. You buy the crosstrainer if you value your time more than your money.

  • @ZboneWalker who has twenty minutes?

  • @nomilkforsanta You ignore what makes UFCT/ROM unique: Variable resistance: Pull & push as hard as you can, UFCT's speed remains constant thru every rep & set. This allows : 1/ Strength to be progressively inroaded thru the set, but still work at it's whatever full momentary capacity is for all 4 min &, 2/ Strength increases from workout to workout to be fully resisted in the same manner . Like a weight machine that knows the most you can lift on every rep. All you need is honest effort.

  • @nomilkforsanta Right , UFCT only works to a point, but the point in question is higher than you estimate: A middle-age non-athlete will never outgrow the potential of the UFCT. Non-athletic individuals can safely reach an intensity athletes reach in sport-specific sessions, & improve their strength & endurance for years. Weightlifting & sprinting bulds, & requires, speed, strength & skill, distance running requires, & builds, specific changes in muscles: UFCT won't help those attributes.

  • @nomilkforsanta

I don't know how many Olympic training centers have ROM machines.

  • @UltraFastCrossTrainr Now Im confused. This appears to be exactly the same ROM machine that is $15,000, for more than 1/3 less? What gives?

  • @lazur1

First, we do not spend much on advertising. Our main advertising is via the internet. Secondly, our overhead expenses are very low. By maintaining low expenses in these two areas, we are able to pass these savings on to our customers.

  • I'm confused. The exercise shown in this video seem very similar to a basic rowing motion. Is there a reason this is superior to rowing machine that costs a couple of hundred dollars?

  • There are several advantages of the UltraFast CrossTrainer®:

    1) it has a greater range of motion so it provides better flexibility training

    2) it resists motion in both directions (pulling and pushing) so you don't get to rest during the stroke which results in a better cardio workout

    3) it has a variable resistance mechanism that allows all of the muscles being worked to be appropriately challenged providing a better strength workout

    4) it has a second station for a lower body workout

  • Yeah ROM!

  • Are you aware that 'depoteco' is promoting at least 1 bio-mechanically questionable, ( & surely redundant), exercise using the ROM? ("ROM Machine Demo Video(range of motion Full body Cardio workout".) She also responded to me that she uses -both- work-outs back-to-back in 1 session,(this has been erased, along with all of my posts on her site).

  • Thanks for the information.

  • Perhaps I'm mistaken. I was under the impression that the resistance adjusts automatically according to how hard the trainee pushes or pulls. If this is the case, why are there resistance settings?

  • The resistance setting affects the intensity of the automatic resistance, which in turn affects how many repetitions you will perform during the workout. A lower resistance setting will enable you to perform more repetitions during the workout compared to a higher resistance setting. The more repetitions you perform, the more aerobic the workout is; performing fewer repetitions results in more of a strength workout.

  • @UltraFastCrossTrainr Same idea as an Airdyne bike, yes?

  • @z5m2 In terms of the variable resistance, you are correct. An Airdyne bike and a ROM machine are similar in that respect.

  • @zUFCS automatically reciprocates increased resistance as it's pulled & pushed harder, but with essentially no speed increase./ Airdyne increases resistance only as it's pedaled faster. / In previously untrained individuals, potential for trained strength increases is great, but potential for speed increases is small. Thus: Depending on continued speed increases to achieve continued strength increase is short-lived & ineffective.
