Um, the drums are fitting, but not every track they played. Drum-like instruments were used for Hornet Hole and Lockjaw Saga. So yeah, drums ARE needed.

Okay this is nice and all and I know it's annoying to hear the same thing over and over again, but WHO could ever compose a medley of this game and not include Stickerbrush Symphony. I would argue until I'm blue in the face that it is one of the greatest pieces of Video Game music ever and by far it is heads and shoulders above everything in this franchise DESPITE how great some of the other songs were. Like... Mining Melancholy? Incredible song... But nowhere near Stickerbrush.

@Magicanto I am a composer for a video game company based in Maryland, and a professional pianist myself. I was about to complain about the exact same thing, but I am glad to see I am not alone. I grew up on this game and its music, and this suite does it no justice. UMGSO's "anyone can join" is what hurts this orchestra. There are way too many of some instruments, with several bad players playing off key and ruining the section, and some sections with too few players of like instruments.

The drum solo was true to the original. These are the exact same notes played in the OST in that song, so I wouldn't blame the drummer too much, rather david wise perhaps? though it wouldn't have hurt if he had made up a better solo.
