It is very hard to find an actor worthy of Max Payne. I liked the first game more (the greatest game of all time), but the second had better plot, and it was easier to create a movie from it. Anyway, movie about Max Payne without Voden or Lem doesn't make any sense to me.

The second I found out on IMDB that there was no Vlad I knew they fucked up. Vlad makes the sequel and not setting it up in the first movie just shows the lack of respect for the games characters and fans. They wanted to turn a quick buck.

Madsen is too old to play Max Payne, that's the major reason he wasn't in the role I think.

Also, Payne is lean and swift.. two things Madsen isn't.

Mila Kunis (Mona Sax) was kind of a stretch 4 me as well cuz of her kidlike voice she uses 4 Meg Griffin. she wasn't as bad as i thought she was gonna be. Ludacris on the other hand was not right 4 the Role of Deputy Chief Jim Brevura. i think i'd have rather had Denis Franz as Jim Brevura cuz he kinda looks it.

that is more or less what the director did. made a huge profit out of something based off a game, only it followed no exact plot similar 2 what the actual game followed. besides the actors 4 B.B. and Brevura were not picked out very well. Brevura is a older white man deputy chief of police n B.B. is this young would be cop, who turned on Punchinello's payroll. BB and Brevura i believed switched ages in that film. we can all tell Ludacris is not as old as Brevura.
