the david one sucks. hes a creepy old guy, the girl looks like shes scared of getting raped by him, and savion glover is awesome for tying lmos shoes. XD im actually doing a dance project on him because he met elmo! XD and i agree elmo is better here than now. now he talks to kids like theyre retarded and his whole weird is retarded. i like when he sang with chris brown though, and elmo's still badass

i remember having a crush on Savion when when i was younger. After that when ever i saw him on anything else (most recently Happy Feet), i think of this SS episode.

I have to agree. This rendition is fairly better. There were a few things wrong with the original. The girl David demonstrated lace tying on looked dismally uncomfortable and Herry Monster sounded like he had a sore throat. This one is cute, though. And this is the cute Elmo I grew up with. It just goes to show that originals are not always better than remakes.
