Keep the Shenmue dream alive but someone you love a Dreamcast for Christmas 2008. £70 uk pounds buys you from Ebay. One PAL Console, VGA cable, which is found on ebay USA, and both games/stories Shenmue I & II. And you'll still have change. Totally worth buying in my opinion. Too much bashing on Yu, none of this is his fault. He as a person is not a game developer or publisher, nor does he hold the licenses for shenmue. He would love to continue making the game, but he can't because Sega/Sammy doesn't want to, for they feel it will not be good financially for them... It also wasn't him developing Shenmue Online (cancelled) it was another development team in China. So don't bash Yu, send your appeal and Anger to Sega/Sammy.

Truth is, Yu wants to make Shenmue 3. He can't get Sega or Microsoft to fund the game. Shenmue 1 & 2 cost alot of money to make and, very few people bought the games. They ended up losing money. So now the companies do not want to shell out the money in fear of it flopping. That's a real shame because shenmue 1 and 2 are my favorite games of all time. Who knows, maybe one day they will take the risk. Man i hope so!
