VOLVO 740 GLE 2.3 16v B234F will race again after broken timing belt

I have read the 16valve absolutely must have a new timing belt every 50,000km, otherwise goodbye engine. Good cars mind you, even the non-turbo model has a decent roar on it.

Wouldn't the pistons have gotten punched holes?

@NorkiddExo they where a little bit dent but not so bad cause now i have driven almost 40.000 km after the fix most of the time flat out and never had any problems
