i saw a burned JEEP in one of UAE tourist sand dunes this year. I hope someone cleaned that up or the Dunes had buried it because i cant help wondering about JEEP's capabilities compared to Japanese reliability. Its gives a bad rep for JEEP specially its the busy season.

It's a wonder they didn't roll going down a hill using brakes only.
It's just a matter of time till they get out of control and roll on the way down or at the bottom, if they don't learn to use the gear box to control the down hill speed. And there is nothing MONSTER about those Jeeps. Well maybe their ego.
@broncobear1 - The video was put up 3 years ago - and at that time in Dubai - Jeeps on 35" tires was very rare... hence the Monster nickname. Anyway - does your rig have some sort of indicator on the outside telling people you're in Low Range First Gear? Coz the red one was definitely in 4-low. It's just a bit of fun no need to be so serious. And the Red Jeep now has a front locker and makes it up there no problems now :)
@LaurieBridger I think the point he was making is that they're braking going down the mountain, which is a good one to flip your vehicle. He's talking about using the gearbox on a manual where you would control the speed of your car by keeping it in first. Hope you didn't keep the car in four low the whole time you were out there, because it's really not good for the car and is really only needed if you get yourself stuck. I'm no expert but did do a pretty sweet training course today in DXB.
So let me get this straight.. You pissed away 2 G's on an AEV Highline kit, which you most likeley had someone else install for.. THEN You got a cute snorkel! Did you waterproof the rest of the engine bay, and all the electrical components and coil rale while you were at it?!?! NOPE.... SMD
I like the new jeeps, but the old one's (pre 1950's) will go were the new ones wouldn't dreem of going!!!!! My favorite is the 1952 M38A1 Willy's. It was AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@glamisfanatic Bestop Half Top for Soft Top vehicles - uses the OEM door surrounds. They also make one for the hard top Jeeps where they provide their own metal door surrounds. They suck and it ripped off my Jeep a couple times while going down the highway. Eventually bought the OEM door surrounds from the dealer and the different top. Trust me, do it right the first time. (May also need tailgate hardware. Easiest way to get that is buy a Bestop Duster cover.)
in the first part of this vid. the unlimited. thats some of the worst flex i have ever seen out of a jeep. my 97' tj has more out of the stock suspension. i hope it was cheep.
You see, this is what I like! Bunch of people out having fun, being cool with one another. Some people get.....assholish when they're out 4by'n! Nice Jeeps!
love the music and vid!! are thows fog lights on the rear bumper of the jk and do u know if i could get it in the us also the license plate cap cuz mine is on the left quarter panel and i hate it?
Bestop Half Top for Soft Tops - needs door surrounds from the factory soft top. Works much better than the Half top for Hard Tops which uses some metal frames that Bestop supplies instead. Factory door surrounds are way better. You may also need tailgate hardware.
this is near the petrol station off hatta road hhhh come to al baddayer if you want real to try off road driving i have a maroon jeep cherokee just look for it i,l be waiting to teast my jeep and see how your jeep will do

Where are the Monster Jeeps?
HuskerSeaofRed 11 months ago
@HuskerSeaofRed - 35 inches is pretty big by Dubai standards... most Jeeps here run 31s or 33s. That's why ppl locally call them monsters.

climbing rocks with semi flat tires...
3ashqGMC 1 year ago
@3ashqGMC dude, clearly you know nothing of off roading, with lower tire pressure you get more rubber on the ground which equals better traction
GunMetalStorm 1 year ago
will be the bumpstops setup to stop tires rubbing. pointless running bigger tires if you cant get the droop

is it just me or does that blue tj not have a lot of flex in the rear?
goldengreek75 2 years ago
ps. looks like fun wheeling spots out there!
goldengreek75 2 years ago
Maybe it's the swaybar?

rear swaybar shouldnt limit flex that much. I have an aftermarket thicker rear sway bar on my ZJ and it hardly limits my flex
