Damn when Armin threw down the Sweedish House Mafia for the final track, that me sooo sick!! i drove 8 hours to go to nocturnal and it was the best idea i've ever had!
Oh man, Armin totally killed it that night!! Gotta love those fireworks. I made a compilation video for the entire weekend. I'll post it as a video response. You should check it out, it brings back so many sweet memories!!
@scooby172 i both agree & disagree. edc is better stacked with talent. the lineup this year was particularly incredible. but i do like that nocturnal has less people. edc was way too crowded, especially this year. theres also something awesome about having the nocturnal festival in the early fall. the autumn energy at those things just cant be recreated at other massives.
i guess if i had my choice, id rather a smaller nocturnal with less talent. so mostly i do agree with you afterall lol :o)
@LAlindquist yeah edc was sooooooooooo crowded. 180,000 + people. damn. the artist were great but talent at nocturnal this year is amazing also. i wish they could have rank 1 and rabbit in the moon again. :D
This night was EPIC!!!! We wrote down all kinds of crazy history!!!! Was hands down d best rave I have ever been to! Still cant believe I was there to witness that! fun fun!!!
I was sitting in the back right chillin' during this song. Some chick walked up to me drunk asking if Above and Beyond had come on yet. Drunk chick whoever you were I hope u got home safe xD
Walking down memory lane...oh wait I don't remember much of it lol...the fireworks were awesome...the enchanted forest was awesome...everything was awesome..well almost everything, minus the sneaky camel people trying to get you to try snus lol
@Rachel4942 Those damn tobacco companies. They will go to any length to get you addicted. Its a shame. Oh well at least I got some free sun glasses from camel without having to participate in their overly long survey.
@macalicious2010 Did you get the chance to walk thru the Christmas light tunnels? I wandered in to one not knowing what it was, and they gave us some crazy glasses going in. And WOW that was a really neat idea.

@MyAshil I really hope so too. This was my 1st Insomniac event and I must say they did a stand out job. Apparently they will be involved in Meltdown this year (i live in DFW). So I am hoping they can bring those amazing production values that Nocturnal had to Dallas. Meltdown has been really lacking the past couple of years. Also, could you post your video as a response to this one? I'd appreciate it.
This was the best rave i have been to in my entire life. Armin, Diesel Boy, Bassnectar and everyone else were fucking amazing. I saw some of the most amazing light shows ever!!!!!!
@YucaTX I hear ya. It was quite the task getting to this party. I live in Arlington and the drive to Austin is two hours which is where we had to stay because all the hotels leading up to Rock Dale had no vacancies. So from there it was an hour and a half drive to Nocturnal, but it was oh so very worth the gas and time spent getting there.

@TheJookEd Yes it was. This was the first year Insomniac produced 2 Nocturnal Festivals. Rockdale, Texas (1st annual) and Los Angeles(16th Annual)
